First time out today at got around at 4.5...finishing 18 with barely any light. Nice track to walk...not terribly difficult and you can use your premium balls here b/c you can't lose them....not many obs. The greens were very slow....the fairways are in nice condition..the layout is interesting. Many mounds in the middle of the fairway and you kinda have to have alittle course knowledge to play it.

My only gripe is they need a marshall here. Okay...here's an etiquette for all of you that don't know yet...if it's super twilight and people are behind, try to wrap up each hole ASAP! We had a father and son in front of us that DELIBERATELY used the round as hacking practice...from one bunker to another...until we finally said something, the father wanted to fight us. Good thing we weren't mild manner...he barked...we barked back louder.

Scheduled to play on Friday at 9:55 but they ran about 25 minutes behind. Busy day with over 200 golfers on the course. We got around in little over 430 but had to wait on almost every shot. Doesn't help that hackers in front of us played the black tee and they couldn't drive it past the women's tee..ugh.

The greens and fairways were the greenest I"ve ever seen. However greens ran a bit slower than typical EG standards. The greenside bunkers were soaked. My biggest gripe are the maintenance workers mowing on every single hole on the front 9. Aren't they suppose to do this early in the AM?

Always a joy to play EG. In great conditions now...just avoid wed thru sunday...busy busy busy.

Got out today at 1:15PM on Saturday and it took 5:45 to play a round. Writing that made me feel painful. No marshall all day. Saw the cart girl several times. I remember one time calling the proshop to ask for a marshall and the guy just hung up on me.

Anyway, greens were bumpy for decent speed. The fairways were in decent condition and the 1 fairway bunker I was in had nice fluffy sand.

It'll be the last time I'll play here for a wknd afternoon round. Skylinks, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Got out yesterday at 4PM for the 15 dollar special. What a deal. We putted out 18 in the dark.

Greens look healthy but ran pretty slow. I'd say probably a 7. The fairways are lush and the rough is healthy. This is the best I've seen at Meadowlark. Oh, and they trimmed down the tree on 1. That used to be a ridiculous hole.

Pace of play was busy because of the special. Poor etiquette as the three some in front of us became a 4 by 9th and became a 5 some on the 11th. They even had the nerve to told us to be patient and we'll finish...that's huntington beach for you.

Overall, good experience. It'll be better to have a marshall or two out. I saw people jumping holes like crazy.

Oh...I recommend wearing a helmet on 14....i swear everyone on 17 hits into you.

Teed off today on Father's Day Sunday at 3pm and finished at 5 hours. Busy day but it was nice people attempted to keep pace.

Greens and fairway are in good condition. In the past years, AH greens were slow. Today they were running at probably a nice 9. The rough is about 2.5 inches and difficult to play out of if you're nestled down. The rough makes this course much more challenging than it is.

This is the best condition I"ve seen AH in. They need to put some more drinking areas on the course. I'll be back soon.

This might be a dog track but it's my dog track... The greens have healed since the aeration..and sadly, they are still bumpy and slow. But you learn to just putt it with a little more juice. If you haven't played here, you need to check it out. It's like going to a hot night club and getting rejected by a bunch of women..then showing up at a dive bar and every girl offers to buy you drinks. You'll hit better shots because you're usually wedge in...you have a big grin because you're putting for birdie...you'll return here over and over because..you like free drinks from women...dive bar or not.

Best value in 2005? I don't know what they charged back then but it's far from a good value now. I must say the customer service was top notch from the bag boy to the starter. But the course is mediocre at best.

The fairways were extremely thin...it was like driving on concrete...great for tee shots to run forever but try hitting a 40 yard shot to a tight pin and getting it to stick. The greens were shaggy and definitely in need of a trim and roll. The layout is unique and course knowledge will reduce about 5 to 7 strokes.

We payed only 55 for a 12pm Saturday time. Pace of play was a nice 4.5. It's hard to come back when Talega isn't too and IMHO a much better layout.

We played Sunday with a tee time at 2:15pm..praying that people are not playing because of the NBA finals...nope we were wrong. When we went to the starter 10 mins before tee time, there was a long line of carts out to the parking lot. My initial thoughts were...boy this is going to be a 6 hour round. However, big props to the staff...holding people back on 1 instead of waiting on the course..we actually finished just under 5 hours. We were pleasantly surprised.

Greens were nice and smooth. Rolling about a 9.5. The fairways were a bit thin. The most brutal part...the wind. By the time we made the turn, the wind was howling probably at 20 to 30 MPH. Bring your knock down shots and short game.

Eagle Glen is always a unique challenge and everytime I play, it reminds me that my golf game really sucks versus playing a reg muni. It's in great shape right now...go...just go early before the wind beats you up.

If you can't get out of sand, you'll have a miserable time here. Typical pete dye course..you really need to study the layout before you pull out the big stick to bomb the ball.

The fairways/greens were all in great condition when I played early May. The staff was attentive from the bag pick up to the drive to #1. They even got us out an hour earlier.

The gps was great. Pace was under 4 hours and that's always a treat.

Typical muni to just get your fix in. The greens were very bumpy and I had to fix marks on every green. The fairways were a hit/miss. The layout is interesting but definitely needs some course knowledge on the dog legs.

We got out at 4pm on Friday and got in about. Drop by if you are dying to play...

Always a pleasure to get up to the central coast and play Morro Bay. It's an incredible deal with incredible views. You don't need to bomb it on the course but it does require very precise 2nd shots into the right part of the greens for an easy 2 putt.

The fairways/greens/tees were all in excellent conditions. We played in the PM and the wind was howling. It's hard to complain about the wind when you're staring directly at the million dollar views.

Best part, barely anyone on the course. We could have finished under 4 but we took our sweet time.

Sycuan Oak Glen is always a gem when I get a chance to play it. Saturday morning was no exception. We teed off at 7am and got around in a little over 3.5 as a 4 some. The greens were perfect and probably rolling around a 9.5 when we started and close to 11 by the end of the round. I love greens that I"m able to trust a line inside 6 feet....

If you haven't played Oak before, there are lots of trees. You need to be able to work the ball both ways off the tee...draw mostly...and if not, be ready to scramble. I was in 2 bunkers and both were filled with soft sand. The rough isn't too deep and isn't too penalizing...the trees are enough of trouble.

If you haven't played this place yet, you should definitely add it to your rotation. Very walkable as well but the GPS in the cart is a treat.
