As this is my home track i am disgusted to see this course in such bad shape. The fairways have dirt patches and the greens are bumpy and ballmarks unrepaired or repaired the wrong way. Many peolpe feel that since Skylinks is close to reopening that the city of Long Beach & American Golf have forgotten about this course.

Looks like the greens have come back and are rolling good but still people fix your ball marks on the greens and maybe a couple others while your at it. They have put some sand in the bunkers and it's nicer than no sand. Fairways are good and the rough is up so wathch those crooked drives you will have to look carefully to find your ball. This meant a 5 1/2 hour round but it's still wotrh it.

Played this course for the first time in 8 years in the city tournament and it is in great shape. The greens are tricky with alot of slopes in them and it makes up for the course being a little shorter than the Los Lagos course. Everthing about this course is fantasic.

This course is in great shape considering all the play it gets. Still people have to fix there ball marks on the greens, fixed at least 4 to 5 a green plus my own otherwise they are rolling well. Good fairways and the rough is just long enough to be able to find and get the ball out but still cause problems. The tee boxes can use a little work. The person who you pay inside to play is very cordial and friendly and apologized for not getting me out sooner than he could (waited for maybe 1 1/2 hours early sunday) The starter on the other hand is a jerk, no make that a real jerk. Bought a bucket of balls and he just therw the change at me, also stoped by during the week to enter the city tournament and the same guy who just answers the phone is just so bad. I hope that he is a member of Greenskeeper and reads this, Dude Loose the Tude. Other than that everybody else was great, I will not let this a** spoil my game. Remeber cash only for the green fees.

If you need to play and cant get a time this is the place. Walked on as a twosome only waited about a 1/2 hour. The greens roll good but are very soft. Some tee boxes need to be leveled. The rough if you can find it is mostly gopher holes, they need to tear it up and do something. The bunkers are just solid packed dirt but it still beats sitting at home not playing.

The greens were a little soft but rolled good. The tee boxes could use some work as being level. A good course to go to if you need to play and are having trouble finding a place.

Played on 7/2 and the greens were not that good they are not coming back from the aeration all that well, rest of the course is in good shape.Also played on 7/5/ and the greens rolled alot better on this day hopefully they will be better for the city amature this weekend 7/9-11.

The greens are coming back from the aeration but are still a little slower than normal. Playing on 7/4/ had a 8:00 tee time and got out early @ 7:30 not to many people there but it was still a 5 hour round. Great customer service and a great price to play.

The greens on the back nine were aerated first and have come back well, the front side should also be there by next weekend. The rest of the course is in good shape. Stay out of the bunkers the sand is soft and saw five balls pluged during this round. Tee boxes could be a little more level in spots.

One of the best courses i have played. The greens were perfect the ball rolled so true, those putts going downhill were really fun. The fairways were punched but they were better than most courses that are not. The customer service was top notch from the starter down to the drink girl. No alcohol is served at the turn or on the back nine. Well worth the benny to play.

As a owner in The Good Life condo's a round of golf is $11 dollars and when this course is in great shape like it is now it makes even more enjoyable. The greens were a little on the slow side and a little bumby but that didnt matter. I would make the drive and play at full price. Great layout.

The greens are a little bumpy and there are to many unrepaired ball marks, fixed two or three on every green. Course is getting alot of water now due to the upcoming tournaments in July this means the bunkers are soaked, the sand here is the worst compaired to most other courses and now it is by far the worst. But for what is being charged to play I will always come back.
