The greens were punched on 3/2/28 & 29 and are bumby but they have not lost any speed. The rest of the course is coming back into great shape after the rains. Once the greens come back this course will again be the best in the county.

Last time i played here was a couple of years ago and the course was hard and dry. Not the case now the course was in good shape the greens were very soft but rolled well, forgot how much slope these greens have. Only one hole (12th) is playing short because of damage from the rains.

Played on 3/19 and the course is in great shape no more standing water and the rough has been cut. The greens are soft and a little bumby but thats normal here but they are running fast. The fairways are at there best now. If it rains again like it did last night the course will be right back to it's flooded state.

A great course that should play shorter once summer hits which will help alot of players on the 18th hole, if you go for it make sure you can clear the water in front of the green. I find that around the greens the ground is hard and it makes chipping sometimes a challange. The best deal in town.

Easily the best course in Long Beach right now. The new greens are not your typical elevated front to back sloped greens, just about every green has one or two ridges running thru them making it very important to get the ball on the right level.
The bunkers are the best with the quality of the sand you would expect at higher end courses.

The course is preparing to overseed the fairways which is the reason for the heavy water.

Played on 11/14/04 my first round since the remodel and all I have to say is wow! what a job they did here. Some of the routing has changed but the overall condition of the course is fantastic. The new greens putt true and they all have ridges, some of them have two or three running thru them and with the increase in size this has turned into a putters course. The sand in the bunkers is a little softer than usual but it's better than no sand and i am sure they will firm up overtime. The green fees have been raised but it is worth the $49 weekend fee to play a course like this.

This course might look tight off the tee but it isnt that bad. The key to have a good score here is being on the right level on the greens because every green has some type of ridge running thru them, plus being large greens three putts are going to happen. Course is in good shape. The fairways are a little soft and are just a little thin because of there aeration but the greens are rolling nice. Great customer service worth the price.

The best deal anywhere and a great course. Not the longest but tight. Just one little thing wrong, the condition of the course is not the best right now but it looks like it's on the way back. A couple of fairways have standing water, the greens are getting in better shape. PLEASE FIX YOUR BALL MARKS.

Greens are coming back ok from aeration but some greens have patchy brown areas. Most likely will get worse than better because American Golf and the City of Long Beach are killing this course. Hopefully the rains on saturday will help a little otherwise a great layout.

Everything about this place is great. Fantasic layout. Some of the greens had some small brown patches on them but never affected play. Played cart path only due to overseeding of the fairways but still better than most. The bunkers have improved since i last played here but are still a little to firm around the greens but are great for the fairways. A great course to play.

Played on overseeded fairways and they are better than most courses. The greens are perfect but still had to fix a couple of unrepaired ball marks. The bunkers here are the best i have ever come across they look like the sand is hard pack but they are so nice. The staff is great from top to bottom. You may look at the price of the green fees and wonder how could they charge as much as they do, but once you play here you no longer wonder why.
