Played Arroyo today, definitely one of my favorite tracks. One of the few courses in So Cal that has mowed areas short of the greens allowing you to play bump and run shots (no Kikuyu)

The fairways were perfect (as they often are) but the greens were uncharacteristically poor. Some greens were truly unputtable, others were ok, and just a couple were in really good shape.

Still had fun, but I'd avoid paying full rate until the greens are better.

Played July 4th 2010, Course was in nice shape. The tee boxes were pretty flat and greens were in really nice condition (though it didn't help me any). The only thing was the greens weren't holding well that day. Barely anything stuck unless I through it really high with alot of backspin. Otherwise, I was getting 5-10 Ft of release. Other than that, the course was great and was in the condition you'd hope for on a public course that gets this kind of traffic.

I've been meaning to play Trilogy (now The GC at Glen Ivy) for a while, since I heard about the elevation! The course layout is very nice and the back nine definately borders on "resort" types of layouts. The course looks like it's on it's way back for sure, the fairways still need a bunch of work. The fairways looked as if they had been really poorly taken care of and were just being nursed back slowly so dont expect perfection. The greens were not bad at all, a bit bumpy and flowery but not bad.

Other than the one short par 4 where the fairway is nearly impossible to find because of trees everywhere (looks like they put a tee-box & flag as a hole where no fairway could be created due to trees), the course was a fun to play and the 18th was a bunch of fun!
