What an amazing golf course. It's like being at a private course from the free range balls, lush tee boxes, manicured fairways, and smooth greens. The pace of play was great and we were sorry to finish so quickly because the course and play was so enjoyable. My only knock on the course was if you didn't have your own GPS or a yardage book sold in the pro shop, yardage on some holes was scarce. We drove 77 miles to play East Valley and would do it again anytime. A wonderful day of golf!

This course is really nice and challenging for golfers of all levels. Accuracy off of the tee is very important because OB comes into play all around the course. The rough is rather thick and causes real challenges when trying to advance your ball down the fairway or to the green. Having the pin position sheet from the pro shop is imperative. The course uses all white flags for pin placement and from the fairways it's difficult to tell exact pin locations. Greens are in good shape and especially challenging when your approach finds a tier other than where the pin is located on. Carts DO NOT have GPS so I would recommend bringing one if that's an option. When your playing well on less challenging courses, Redhawk is a great test of how solid your game truly is.
