SURVEYOR REPORT Surveyor Report: 3/11/2004
First time playing Mountain Meadows Golf Course and I was completely taken back by the layout. I did not expect such an interesting, visually pleasing, and fun golf course for the price. Many of the posted comments had indicated what a great track it was but I guess seeing is believing. My favorite stretch of holes had to be 12, 13, 14, & 15. Especially hole 13, which is a tremendous par 3 with some incredible views. I’m not saying Mountain Meadows has a better layout then Industry Hills or some of the other high-end courses in the area, but for 21.50 weekday…wow!

As for the playing conditions, no surprises here. The course certainly played to its green fee. The greens, tee boxes, and sand traps were decent but the fairways and rough definitely needed some help.

My Ratings:

Greens: 7 – Smooth at times bumpy, medium to fast, firm at times soft.
Fairways: 3 - Thin with some severe divot damage.
Rough: 4 - Thin at times lush and poorly groomed.
Sand Traps: 7 – Good quality sand and mostly well kept…with exception to a few squirrel holes.
Tee Boxes: 5 – Lush at times thin with some severe divot damage and some uneven boxes.

Overall – I love this course. Highly recommend it to all skill levels but beware of SLOW PLAY.
