Wow, what a spectacular course. As most of the previous reviewers, from the bag drop off area to the end of the round...the customer service here is outstanding! The course is also beautiful, with lush fairways, very firm greens which is hard to convince yourself that they are really not that fast!

The fairways are in the best condition I have seen at any course as of late. You do catch alot of roll, I teed off with a 3 iron on the 1st hole due to unfamiliarity of the course and course recommendations from other reviewers as well as the starter....I hit my 3 iron 290 yds....I only hit my iron about 230, so beware of the firm and fast rolling fairways which will roll onto the burns surrounding this whole course.

The greens were very deceptive, as I repaired my pitch marks along with other unrepaired ballmarks from other golfers who are too lazy to repair their own, I found them to be very firm. This firmness eluding me to think that the greens were going to be fast, but they stayed consistently slow (probably an 8 on the stimp). I left so many birdie putts short due to my lack of adjustment.

As others have also described, the course does not really seem to be as difficult as its slope rating suggests. I found the burn once (hole#10)...I was very aggressive on all par 5s (reached 3 of them in two for eagle putts). There is one short par 4 about 300 yds that can be reached by long hitters, really a risk/reward shot....I paid the penalty and went into the waste bunker on the right!

This course is a 10/10, as the greens firm up more during the upcoming season, this course may live up to its slope rating. Play it smart, good course management will make this course a very pleasant and worth while drive! Kudos to the staff and management, I will be back.......

Alot of hazards are not viewable. I had a map of the course which helped immensely. The teeboxes were outstanding, fairways were lush & the greens were smooth. Some greens had some unrepaired ball marks but were mostly smooth. Let's repair your marks golfers & keep this place great! Greens rolled true but a little slow. I left many short although they were long putts on these large greens. Customer service was very good. I will return!

I played the course for the first time and started around 7:00 a.m. The staff could not of been nicer. I went out as a single and got right out. While you do have a lot of blind shots I don't think the yardage books are that big of an issue. The GPS worked fine and as long as you pay attention and don't get gready (play smart) you will be fine. The greens are slow and hard but are nice. Overall a very nice course and a good price. It is a nice change of pace and a course you must think over your shots.

Played Summerly and can say what a great course this one is. It's abosolutely great to play even though it is difficult. Be careful to watch for the red stakes which meander in and out of the fairways. It was windy when we played and it took 2 more clubs in some direction to get the ball to the green. Great fun, great condition, great staff. Will be back.

Due to the awesome staff in the pro shop and them helping me get a tee time early on a fully booked saturday morning, me and my group made the trek back out to Summerly. I can't say enough about the staff and management out there. They are going out of their way to garner customer loyalty and they officially have mine. This place is pretty much booked up everyday thus far. They don't need to be going out of their way like this and they are. This is some five star treatment and I will keep going back as long as this continues.

As for the course, it is still in great shape. I agree with the last review about the greens being kind of slow. Probably about a seven or eight tops, but I will say that they are smooth. And I am almost happy to sacrifice a little speed for a true roll. From tee to green, the course looks and plays really nice. The greens are pretty firm, so unless you put some spin on your approach, count on it rolling out quite a bit.

I don't think this course is as hard as its slope and rating. Both rounds I've played here, I've had no problem scoring well. That being said, I'm sure my next visit I'll shoot 174. Can't wait to go back again, but will probably wait till they get the yardage books. So many hazards on the course, it can get a little frustrating not knowing if a perfect drive will actually be playable.

Good job Summerly, you guys are doing great, please keep it up!

1st time this AM. See other posts, they are mostly correct. We played the blues, trusted the GPS and were screwed a few times, but,,, this is a fun test of GOLF. Golf isnt supposed to be easy ALL THE TIME. We will return when they have yardage books and something to advise ya when and where the freaking "burn" is. we really liked the course. Greens are super slow. They look fast but they are new and SLOOOOOW. From Redhawk super fast greens yesterday to these greens was tough. Again the greens were almost perfect, but slow. The burn is what protects this track, its IMPORTANT as without it you would have a boring day. We had discussions re the burn, where is it? which way do ya think it goes? A lot of holes for the driver, wide open, hit it hard,, but,,others ya maybe want to lay up. ,, again we will return when they have a book to look at to advise where the ^%$%%^$##@ creek is. 2 of my guys aced the place, way below their hdcp, stayed out of trouble, hit the greens,putted well, 2 of us did not share their joy. We want a rematch. Fun test. Great staff. Good price.

I just wanted to comment on the customer service. These guys are taking it to another level. I called up today to see if anything had opened up for Sunday morning. Not only did the pro shop try their hardest to find a spot for our group, the guy took down my number and actually called me back to when he made space for us. Since I have been playing, this is the first time a course has gone to such lengths to accomodate. I am really stoked on these guys and even though the pace of play is extremely slow and brutal, I will be going back very soon due to the way they treated me today.
