Played 1-23-26 as a single in a little over 2 1/2 hours in early morning fog that hung around for most of the round. Greens are in real nice shape, rolling smooth at medium/fast pace and playing soft. Fairways are in nice condition, a little on the dormant side, with decent roll out and semi-tight lies with good padding. Rough was in good condition, maybe an inch longer than the fairways, and mostly dormant and easy to hit from. Was in one greenside bunker that was nicely groomed, and had a good layer of nice brown sand. Tee boxes were in okay shape, a little on the thin side except for the par threes which they had over seeded. Nice conditions all around and well worth playing.

Played 1-22-26 early morning walking as a single for $26 senior and finishing in a little over 2 hours with no waiting on the threesome in front of me that were running after every shot. Tee boxes were not in good shape, a lot of bare spots mostly hitting of of dirt on a lot of the holes. Fairways were okay, with some bare spots here and there but mostly decent lies. Rough in decent shape 1-2 inches with some thicker spots and some thin spots. Was in one greenside bunker that had a brown sand that was almost like silt. Greens were okay, a little bumpy on some at medium/slow pace and surprisingly very few un repaired pitch marks.

Played 1-19-26 in the morning walking as a foursome and finishing in a little under 4 1/2 hours with some minor waiting. Tee boxes were mostly level with some of them being on the thin side, and minor divot damage on par threes. Fairways for the most part were in good shape. There were a few bare areas, and some wet spots where they haven't dried out yet from the rains, but mostly good lies and decent roll out. Primary rough along fairways was 2-3 inches, in good shape and thick, outside that is 1-2 feet and lost ball territory. Was not in any bunkers but they looked to be in good condition and well groomed. Greens were in good shape, rolling medium pace and mostly smooth with an occasional bump mostly from unrepaired pitch marks. Overall course in good condition. Recommend playing.

Played 1-15-26 early morning for $24 walking Sr rate. Third group out playing very slow taking over 4 1/2 hours. Tee boxes were mostly level with quite a few of them having some large bare spots where you were teeing of of dirt or patching ground. Fairways were in okay shape with a mix of different grasses, some bare and thin areas, and some wet areas that haven't dried out from the rains yet. Rough was a mix of different heights ranging from thin spots to 3-4 inches and thick. Was not in any bunkers, they looked to be in okay shape, but did have a lot of unraked foot prints. Greens were not in good shape, small bare spots here and there mixed in with the most unrepaired pitch marks I think I have ever seen on almost every green. They were bumpy, rolling on the slow side, and playing semi-soft. Overall in below muni condition. With condition of course and the very slow play I would not recommend this course right now. Hopefully things will improve.

Played 1-12-26 mid morning shotgun in the Vivid/GK outing with nice sunny skies on a semi windy day. Tee boxes were in great shape, good coverage, cut tight and level with minor divot damage on the par threes. Fairways were in really good condition, wall to wall green with good roll out and semi-tight lies. Rough was playing 1-3 inches, in great shape, very lush and thick. Was in a couple of greenside bunkers, both of which were nicely groomed with a good amount of semi-firm sand. Greens were in really nice condition, rolling smooth, medium/fast and playing semi-soft. Always great to get out at Saticoy with very friendly helpful staff on such a wonderful course.
