Played Friday, April 3rd. I usually can play here on a Friday and walk right on but I totally forgot it was Good Friday. I still only had to wait about an hour, which was fine.

The course was in great shape for the most part. The teeboxes were good. The fairways were very nice. The rough was about 3" thick and made it difficult to judge which club to use hacking it out of there. The greens were also very nice. The bunkers were the only downside. Most were very thin and was hard to hit a decent shot out of them. POP was around 4.5 hours which was good considering the place was packed for Good Friday.

Played 3/6/15 on a beautiful but very windy day (40 MPH!). POP was around 5 hours which seemed like a lot for a Friday. This course is amazing. The teeboxes, fairways, greens, bunkers, and even rough are all well manicured and the staff are all super friendly. Definitely worth the $68 weekday fee.

Played Canyon/Ranch on Friday, 2/20 at 11am. Paid $44 on golfnow which is a good price. I really love the layout and elevation changes on this course.

Teeboxes: Were pretty good.
Fairways: They were nice and didn't see too many "ground under repair" areas.
Rough: Kind of non existent but the fairways are so wide that if you find the rough, you usually have a tree in your way anyways
Traps: Had a good amount of sand
Greens: The greens roll fairly true.

My only issue with this course is every time I play it, I always find it hard to stop the ball on the greens with my hybrids, irons, and wedges. I hit my approach shots fairly high and usually get a decent amount of spin or not too much roll out on most courses. This course however, I can never seem to get the ball to stick and usually always a lot of roll out to the back of the green. Very frustrating!

The starter Jim is one of the nicest and coolest starters at any course I've played. Still a great course and I will continue to play it here and there.

Played Arrowood on 8/16 around noon. POP was just under 5 hours. This was my first time playing this course after wanting to for so long. I thoroughly enjoyed the layout of the course as well as the friendly staff and amenities the course had to offer.

Tee Boxes: All level and not much divot damage
Greens: Rolled true and smooth
Fairways: A little thin but I think that's a good thing. Plenty of rollout on well struck drives
Rough: 2-3" which is pretty good compared to a lot of courses
Sand Traps: Only found 1 all day and it was fairly fluffy

Overall, I definitely plan on playing this course again. It's a bit of a drive for me but well worth it if you aren't stuck in traffic going or coming from.

Played Eastlake July 25th. I hadn't played here in over a year due to poor conditions but I figured that I would give it a shot after reading Centercut's review. Here are my thoughts:

The good:
The greens were the best part of the course. They were well maintained on most of the 18 holes. I still love the layout of this course and think they did a good job with most of the holes to keep them challenging and unique. The fairways on the first 3 holes were excellent. They were lush so I assumed that it would be like that the rest of the round. Unfortunately, after hole 4 (par 3), hole #5 fairway was terrible. Tons of dirt spots and very thin. It stayed like that the rest of the round. I always find the customer service to be good as well.

The Bad:
The sand traps were awful. They were all hard as a rock and made it impossible to try and get up and down for par. The Tee boxes weren't the best. A lot of them were uneven and had a lot of old divot damage.

The Ugly:
The maintenance crew. They were very rude the entire round. 1 of the giant mower guys followed me around the entire front 9. He wouldn't even turn off the motor while I was putting. Rude! I ended up telling the pro shop at the turn and the crew member didn't seem to get the memo until hole #13.

I think I'll be waiting another year to play this course or until I see another positive review. There are just too many other solid courses in the area for me to play.

Played in a tournament over the weekend at Maderas. The courses conditions were amazing. Everything from the teeboxes, to the fairway, to the bunkers, and the greens were in fantastic shape. The customer service is also top-notch. This course is a must play for anyone who has not played it before.

My only knock is that the carts should have GPS on them since the green fees are steep. They do have coolers on them already filled with ice and water which is a nice touch.

Played Presidio/Mission on 11/1 at 1:03. Got a great rate of $42 online. POP was about 4.5 hours.
I thought the Tee boxes, Greens and Fairways were all in great shape. The rough still needs some time as there were scattered dirt patches everywhere. I fortunately didn't find any sand the entire round but no one else seemed to complain so they must have been alright.

Had the pleasure of playing this beautiful course on 9/6/2013. The price was $65 using Golfhub. It was worth every penny. The course was an amazing shape. I don't think I could have picked a better course to play during my short stay in Denver.
My only complaint for the entire day was that the maintenance workers had no "golf etiquette" and were running their mowers and talking very loud as we were playing the front 9.

I was out in Scottsdale for a bachelor party this past weekend and had the opportunity to play on Friday before the festivities started. I'm definitely glad I took advantage. This course is definitely a "bucket list" type course. It was everything I expected it to be.

POP was around 4hr 15 minutes. Price was $75 (Summer rates).
Tees: Perfect
Fairways: Perfect
Rough: Fairly thick with no bare spots
Greens: They were rolling a little slower than I would have liked but they were still very prestine and rolled true.
Sand: Nice and fluffy around the green
Customer Service: As good as could be expected from a TPC course.

Overall, I would highly recommend playing the course when they have the summer rates because it goes from $75 up to about $200 during the peak season.

Played 7/28 in a Tournament. POP was about 4.5 hrs. The conditions were great. If you haven't played here, it's definitely worth playing at least once.

Teeboxes: They were great. Lots of grass and level.
Greens: Rolled true. Were pretty fast.
Fairways: They were thin but that isn't a bad thing if there aren't any bare spots or severe divot damage.
Rough: 3-5". Definitely are penalized if you miss the fairway or around the greens.
Sand Traps: Lots of sand.

My only negative comment I'll make is that the Marshal could work on his attitude. We fell behind the group in front of us due to us stopping for food at the turn but he insisted on reminding us every 3 holes to speed up. I would normally agree except for the fact that we weren't holding up any of the groups behind us as they stopped for food as well.

Played Eastlake "Country Club" on 7/19 at 3pm. POP was 4hrs. I hadn't played this course in over a year but was offered a chance to play for $20 so I decided to check it out. The management at this course should be ashamed. Ted Robinson designed this course and it has a very nice layout but the management have let the fairways and greens get very poor.

Teeboxes: Seemed ok. Some divot damage.
Fairways: Lots of dirt and bare spots.
Rough: What rough? It looked the same as the fairway.
Greens: Hard as a rock. No one in my 4some could get any spin on their approach shots. Downhill putts stopped on a dime.
SandTraps: More like ClayTraps.

Overall, I don't think I'll be playing this course anytime soon, even at $20 rate. There are way too many courses in San Diego that are fun to play including Salt Creek which takes about the same amount of time to drive to for me.

Played 6/23 with fellow GK'er baomai. POP was about 4 1/2 hours which was quite shocking since we played with a guy who averaged anywhere from 10-15 shots a hole (and never picked his ball up once). I blame Bao for not stepping up and saying anything! :)

Tee Boxes: They were not very good. Most of them were not level.
Fairways: Pretty thin with a lot of 'ground under repair' areas.
Greens: They were the bright spot on the round. I thought they were very nice and rolled true. Not a lot of ball mark damage and were soft with at times being firm.
Rough: Some areas were nice but mostly saw dirt patches. The few areas that were nice were under the trees.
Sand Trap: The 1 I found was good. Soft sand.
