played 5/22, Always well maintained course, a bit windy and the 2 groups ahead of us were a bit slow, but well worth the green fees and always amazed how they keep the fairways so green and manicured. Cheers to the Goose's Greenskeeper.

I play coyote hills at least 20 rounds a year, this is always a challenging and nice course, just be aware that a lot of first time players who try this course tends to go on the black or gold tees because the yardage for the course is shorter than most. However, since this is a pretty challenging course, you see players who go on black or gold spend a lot of time hitting several balls or looking for lost balls. Also, check to see if they are having a tournament, we had a group held up everybody in the starting hole today, because they went on shotgun, and insist that the group in front and behind them should only be for those who are playing on their shotgun. It later turns out that they went to the wrong hole, which explains why they did not have the people they expected. What jerks!!!

Started playing here weekly since early Oct., surprised to say that this one of the best public course in the area, very reasonable price and well maintained. Only thing to watch for are the golfers that hits balls across from one fairway to another. It is a fun course, but watch for those errand balls. Fore!!!

Played for first time on 11/3, the course was good, they had just punched the greens about 10 days ago, so still rolled pretty slow, I liked the course layout and design where nearby houses does not seem to get too much in your way, the starter was very nice and even asked if we would like to start from back 9, this allowed us to play for about 3.5 hr on a weekend. Nice course, great golf day. This is as good as it gets.

Played on 9/23, beautiful day, nice course, but terribly disorganized way to run a course, no clubhouse, no food, no coffee w/ cart girl, no driving range. We checked in at 8:20 for a 9:00 tee time, there was no carts available and had to wait about 10 minutes for a dirty cart, went to the starting tee, and find that there were about 10 other carts waiting. Finally got to tee off at 9:30 after checking several times with starter. If you want to know what disorganized system, this is it. Course was nice, with exceptionally large green area, but should have more distance marker -only ones available on cart paths (Blue, white and Red). For the money I would rather go to the other nearby course- Trilogy, Eagle Glen, Hidden Valley, etc.

Played today 9/15, I was very disappointed with the condition of this course. Fairway, tee box and greens was no better than a public muni course, not worth the $$$ at all. A shame the layout is great, but so what? Marshall said that the recent heat really caught the greenskeeper by surprise, which is a lot of bs. Nearby courses such as Coyote hills is 10x better condition. Will not recommend at all, unless they really put effort to heal the course.

It's been over a year since I last played here, Played again on 8/4. The course is still one of my favorite, and the only reason I don't get to play here more often is because of the long drive out. Overall, the course is great, except for the bunkers were a bit wet, but with the discounted summer rates, this is probably the best deal anywhere in Southern Cal. Will try to play here more often, especially with this cooler than normal summer temps.

Played 7/12 noon tee time, course just opened yesterday, green is still very slow, should be better in a month or so, overall, the course looks great, suggest to play white tees if not familiar with the course, lots of turns and OB possibilities. Great course and convenient location.

Great course for the money, except very crowded in the weekend, unless you can get a very early tee time.

Played 1/21/06. Fairway was not as well maintained as I expected, lots of yellow dried up area. Greens were fast and in great condition. We were behind a foursome that spend a lot of time looking for their balls, and took their time making >4 putts on the green. Plenty of Marshalls around, but seems to just be watching if someone drove into the non-cart area. Took over 5 1/2 hours, not worth the money and drive from Torrance,

Played on 11/20/2005. Course is challenging, but not as well maintained as expected. Also be prepare to play for at least 5+ hours during the weekend, as well as pay attention to possible fog condition in early morning, our tee time was for 9:30 but we did not even get on until almost noon time. Lastly, you need to be very patient since most of the people playing are senior citizens, and they really take their time.
