I've played Goose Creek several times and have never been disappointed with the conditions. This is a very forgiving course on most holes since most have pretty wide fairways. The greens tend to play faster than most S. California courses of similar price/quality. All the par 3s play at least 180 from the blues, which make them interesting for the average golfer.

Par threes are not very exciting, all similiar length, but the rest of the course more than makes up for it. Most play

Best ,friendliest staff around, if they could just vary the par 3's a little, range is excellent, just hard enough, but not like rock, or a sand pit like others in the area...

WENT TO THE GOOSE ON 9/26 IN THE AFTERNOON TO GET IN A QUICK ROUND AND THE PARKING LOT WAS EMPTY. FOUND OUT THAT THEY HAD PUNCH THERE GREENS AND WERE READY TO START OVERSEEDING. ONE OF THE ASSISTANT PROS TOOK ME OUT TO PLAY A FEW HOLES. THEY ARE REPLACING ALL OF THE COLLARS AROUND THE GREENS AS WELL AS THE OVERSEEDING. THE GOOSE DOES IT RIGHT THEY TELL CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY TRY TO MAKE A TEE TIME AND WHEN THEY FIX THE COURSE THEY DON'T JUST PUT A BAND AID ON IT. A FEW OF THE COLLARS WERE IN BAD SHAPE SO THEY FIX THEM ALL. GIVE THE GOOSE A FEW WEEKS AND IT WILL BE THE GREAT COURSE THAT WE ALL KNOW.

called this morning (10-2-06) for a tee time on wednesday morning. pro shop advised me they were re-seeding and the course would be very wet. and the cart paths only rule would be in effect. advised me to wait a week. talk about customer friendly. no wonder this is one of my favorite courses. doubt there are many other courses as considerate of their customers. thanks Goose Creek.

Great course, needs better yardage markers on the fairways or GPS in the carts. Great hamburgers.

Ahh, the Goose!!! Early 7:15 tee time,,had a very nice day, The Goose has somehow missed the hot weather problems,maybe its the daily dusting from the ladies next door,{cows} or maybe its just excellent care by the staff. Greens and fairways are great. A couple fairways on the back had some dry spots, but nothing to get excited about. Early tee time,fast round,played well, had fun guys to share the day with. We made a tee time for next week before they punch the greens. If you want a fun time,not tooooo hard, but keeps ya awake the Goose is the place. Oh yeah, the front desk and the starter have the best attitude of anywhere, I mean anywhere. Weird, its almost like they are happy to be there.
