Played 8/13 @ 1:00. Course is going down hill again after just giving it a decent review one week ago. Greens are bumpy & pretty slow. I just don't understand why courses try for a little while and then give up. Money is always the issue, right? Anywho, its golf & its cheap.

Played 7/8 @ 1:00. Very winding on the first few holes. Greens were a little faster than the last time I played here. Payed $15 on GolfNow. It was worth it. I enjoyed the 4 1/2 hr. round.

Well I had to try out ol' Chula. I hadn't played here in a couple of months & to my suprise the course was in pretty good shape. The greens were very green & healthy but way too slow for my liking. I couldn't make a putt to save my life. I mean I stuffed it in there on several occasions & made nothing...Anywho, the course is worth & $15. But they need to cut & roll the greens!

Booked a tee time online for $15. tee time was at 3pm and the green fee included cart rental. awesome bargain and was able to finish the 18 in 4 hours on a Thursday. I've played here for years and this was the first time i was out here in a while. The course is actually improved greatly. Hole #3 is finally completed and there is no more construction on any of the holes. Pace of play on the weekends is extremely slow but on the weekdays, it moves fairly quick.

Just because CV is a muni, doesn't mean that it's easy. The course boasts decent length, and forces you to think your way around the course on the shorter holes. A "feel good" round during the week, or to warm you up for your upcoming weekend round, Chula Vista is ready to take on all comers with a decent test of golf. Be sure to check out the house salsa at the 19th hole...great stuff.
