Riverside could be a pretty nice course if not for the abundance of bare ground and spotty turf. The greens and areas immediately adjacent to them are reasonably maintained. Too bad the city-run course cannot catch up to what appears to be a long run of poor maintenance. HOWEVER, there is some great potential in the layout and some improvements are in the works, according to some men's club members in the know! All things considered, the price is reasonable. Try playing in the winter or early spring.
