TPC Valencia, Valencia, CA
Friday June 27, 2008. Tee times starting at 1:30 p.m. Last tee time 2:50 p.m. The sun sets at 8:08 p.m., so there is plenty of time for all of us to finish.

$90.00 entry fee includes green fees, cart, range balls and prize pool. Sorry, no meal in this deal.

This is a pre-pay event. Payment must be received by June 1, 2008. TPC extended us a special rate of $85. I added $5 per player to cover the cost of the prize pool.

Dress code: This event is at a private club, we are their guests, so attire appropriate for a country club is required! No denim of any kind is allowed. You will be asked to change if you are dressed inappropriately. Soft spikes only.

36 player field (all skill levels welcome). 8 of these spaces (Groups #5 and #6) are reserved by the director and his member sponsor at TPC for players in the Over 40 Basketball league in Valencia. This tournament will double as an unofficial league golf championship. Waiting list started...see below.

Individual net competition for GK Golf Club members, several on course contests, a team competition, putting contest, and more...all included in entry fee.

Rancho San Marcos Golf Course
Saturday, July 19th.
Shotgun start at 1:00pm
$110 = Includes: Green fees, unlimited range balls, Tri-Tip/Chicken BBQ feast, games,raffle, prize pool!
Format: 1-2-3 best ball net team play, individual stroke play grow/net.
56 players field.

Games: Closest-To-The-Pin (every par 3), Long Drive and Prize Pool Skins
(included with entry).

Men = may play from the white or black tees. However for handicap purposes, we will be using the white tee ratings/slope.

Women = may play from the white or green tees. However for handicap purposes, we will be using the green tee ratings/slope.

First off, the normal green fee to play Rancho San Marcos on the day and time we are playing, is $120. Need I say more....well ok, read below...

We are going BIG with this event! Red Ink this on your calendar. With a 1:00pm start at this incredible golf course, which incidentally was one of only five finalist nationally for renovation of the year 2007, this course is driving distance from virtually everywhere in California the day of the event. It's also a great time of year to visit Santa Barbara. Having played Rancho San Marcos golf course recently, we are all in for treat. Absolutely one of my favorite golf courses in California. Tranquil, gorgeous setting with A-1 playing conditions, layout and service. The post Tri-Tip/Chicken BBQ feast at the post round game gathering takes place on an outdoor shaded patio directly adjacent to the picturesque ninth hole

* 1-2-3 Format. This is a very fun team format where the best ball score(s) are used according to sequence so on the first hole, the best score counts, the second hole the first and second best scores count, the third hole the first, second and third best scores count and then on the forth hole the sequence starts over again.

Prize Pool:
* Must be present at the event during our post round BBQ/ prize giveaways to collect prizes.

- Low Net Prizes = GK Golf Club Members

Raffle prizes: So far, a gift certificate from Rancho San Marcos Golf Club consisting of: A complimentary round of golf for FOUR, golf carts

...for this tourney we'll have a tropical theme....wear your best Hawaiian shirt! (bonus for participating - same as May tourney)

$50.00 entry fee includes green fees, cart and prize pool including all cash events. This is a pre-pay event. Payment must be received by July 19, 2008.

$500.00 (+/-) in cash and prizes to be awarded

52 max. player field (all skill levels welcome)

Individual medal play in 8 flights, lots of on course contests, a team competition, putting contest, skins, and more...all included in entry fee (See my Feb. 1 and May 2 Tournaments)

Bonus: Those who participate in the multiple sclerosis fundraiser (a $10 minimum donation receives 2 mulligans and an appreciative hug from my wife (she was diagnosed with M.S. in 1999)) will be entered in a random drawing to join me in playing at the 2008 M.S. Golf Tournament at Robinson Ranch on Monday September 8th. Golf (shamble format), range balls, breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Congratulations to "ExSite18" for winning the drawing at my February tournament and to "BRUCE1110" for winning the drawing at my May tournament.
