Condition was decent. Some of the par 3 tee boxes were pretty beat up. Fairways weren't very good, with a lot of dirt spots (caused by gophers?). The greens were in great condition. Not a lot of ball marks and rolled pretty fast and true. I love their practice facility. They have a couple of small putting greens next to the proshop and a large one by the chipping/pitching area. Wish it was closer to my house so I can practice here everyday!

Tee boxes were decent, with the Par3s pretty beat up. Fairways aren't in great shape. Lot of brown spots and weed. The greens are in very good shape. They were smooth, rolled quick and true.

Played 12/16 with a late morning tee time. Pace wasn't bad until the back 9 when we caught up to the group in front of us. Since then, we were waiting to tee off at every single hole. The highlight of the course were the greens. They were receptive, smooth, and rolled fairly fast. Tee boxes were good. I didn't have a problem finding a good spot to tee off on the par 3s. The fairways weren't in good shape. Lots of brown spots, and thin in a lot of areas. However, nice greens mean more than anything to me on a golf course, and this place kept their greens in great shape. It was a good round.

Played 12/15 the day after a couple of rainy days. The course was still a bit wet, but it drained pretty well. I'm finding this course into a prefer destination on my rotation now. The tee boxes were a bit beat up, likely related to the recent wet days. Fairways and greens were in great shape, with the greens a bit on the slow side, but smooth. The rough hasn't improved since I played the last time and is still thin at some spots. As previous review mentioned, $77 isn't cheap, but I don't see a better deal in the area.

Played 12/8 (Sat). Reminded me why I don't play here often even though it's less than 10 minutes away from where I live. Got there at 6:45am, put our name down as a 2some and finally got on at 8am. We expected the wait as walkons, so no biggy there. However, the round took well over 5 hours, having to pretty much wait for every single shot. Out of the 3 groups ahead of us, 2 were 5somes. Pace of play here on the weekend is just horrendous.

The tee boxes were a joke. Could hardly find grass to tee off of. The fairways were half decent at best. The greens were slow and ~half of them had heavy damage. The best thing about the course was the bunkers. There was plenty of nice soft sand in them.

Don't expect to be out there again any time soon.

2 words, "GO PLAY". Last time I was there, the course was getting prepared to be aerated and they were just letting the fairways die. Playing condition was horrible because of that. Now that the aeration is over and the course has recovered, it's in perfect condition! The fairways were lush and smooth like carpet. Tee boxes were flat and undamaged. The greens were smooth, undamaged, but a bit on the slow side. If there's anything to complain about, the bunkers needed more sand, but it was still very playable.

Customer service was top notch. Last time I was there, the experience was a deviation from their norm.

If you haven't played there recently, get out there NOW.

Played Thanksgiving day. It was busier than I expected. I do like the course. Front and back 9s are very different, with the back resembling a link style layout. Setup was nice with some pretty tough greens. Conditions of the tee boxes And fairways were excellent, but the greens were bumpy and slow, I mean muni course slow. Unfortunate, bad greens really bother me and I didn't enjoy the round as much as I should have. The greens were kinda punched, but the holes were tiny and not round like a typical aeration. Not sure what it was. I would still recommend this course to anyone. Hopefully the greens recover soon.

Playing this course 2nd week in a roll. Conditions were great. There was a lot of sand on the greens last week, but it was no longtoday issue today. The round took about 4 hours with an 8am tee time and the field was moving. Would have been even faster if we didnt have to play the first 4 holes in total fog. Everything is in prime condition now, from the tee boxes, fairways, and the greens. I couldn't find anything to complain about. If you haven't played here recently, it's time to go back. Have fun and hit them straight!

Loved this course. $70 to play a late morning round on a weekday though golf now. It was well worth that price. Customer service was top notch. We walked up with our bags and there was someone there to take them and placed them on carts while we checked in. Starter was tentative and gave us water and ice.

The tee boxes were lush, flat, and mostly undamaged. The fairways were brown but very playable. The greens were great. They were undamaged, fast, and rolled the ball true. They've recently laid out a lot of mulch around the course to save water. It didn't bother me, and I had no problem hitting off of them when needed to. The course also had a great practice facility.

I'll definitely be back if I can play for that rate.

The course was in the worst shape I've played. Fairways were dry, with lot of thin and hard pan areas. The greens had a lot of damages, mostly small spots in clusters. I could see how the greenskeeper tried to set up the pin placements at all the best spots though. The tee boxes were the worst part. The course doesn't call for a driver on most holes, and I had a hard time finding a decent lie to hit my irons/fairways woods. The tee boxes were severely damaged with almost no grass.

Pace was great, especially for a late morning round. Took us (3some) just under 3.5 hours.

Played 11/17. The course was in very good shape. This is the best value for an O.C. course. Coyote Hills is twice the price and not worth that in my opinion. We've experienced some bad customer service/starter coordination before, but those haven't been a problem the last couple of times we played here.

Teed off at 6:30am, replayed and ended up doing 45 holes. Tee boxes were level with a few divots, fairways were nice and lush, and bunkers were filled. The greens were in good shape overall, but there's still a good amount of sand on them. There were noticeably more ball marks in the afternoon, which wasn't surprising. More people need to be mindful of other players. The rough areas were a problem with this course; most were very thin including areas around the greens. Hopefully that will get better. Over all, this is the course I choose over others when I play in the O.C.

Played 11/11. 6:25am tee time and finished in about 4 hours. We were planning on doing a replay, but there was some local pro-am tournament and we couldn't get out again. :-/

The course was in great shape after their recent work on the fairways. Last time we were there, some of the fairways were completely brown. I think they were just letting it die intentionally. The fairways are now nice and lush; back to Goose Creek standard! Tee boxes were even and largely undamaged. The greens were fast, but not lightning fast like the ones at Tukwet clubs I play the day before, and definitely more receptive. There were a LOT of ball marks though. C'mon people, fix your divots! This is one of my favorite track and it's always well maintained. If you've been holding off due to its recent maintenance, it's time to go play. You won't be disappointed.
