I really miss the Industry Hills of yesteryears where conditions were top notch and best in the SGV. Seems that those days are long gone.

Tee boxes were rough, thin, and barely had good spots to hit from on the par 3s. Bald and thin spots galore on the fairways. Roughs are cut pretty short and inconsistent with lots of bald areas as well. Greens were slow, bumpy, and VERY soft. How soft? 3 of my wedge shots were embedded. Lots of divots even for the 2nd tee time of the day. The bright spot was the bunkers. Plenty of sand and quite consistent throughout. I love the track, just wish that they maintain it better.

Course isn’t in good shape right now. Maybe due to the excessive plays since they’re running specials on the weekdays. Tee boxes were patchy and it was a challenge to find good spots to tee off on the par 3s. Roughs were inconsistent. Fine in some areas, bald spots galore in others. Fairways were decent with some brown areas but didn’t impact the swing too much. The greens were on the slow side and there were so many divots it was like the surface of the moon. We teed off at 7am, so plenty of these were from the previous day. So there’s no greenskeeper or marshal going around to fix leftover marks from inconsiderate golfers.

POP was right around 4 hours. Saw 2 cart girls and everyone was very nice.

Played today with a 7am tee time. Half of back tee boxes are under maintenance and everything is moved up. #12 is now a 370yd par 5.

Tee boxes for the moved up holes are all in poor shape, others are fine. #16 green is under maintenance and is now a 130yd par-3. Outside of that, conditions are good. Fairways and rough areas are lush, greens are on the slower side but smooth and rolled true. My rating is unrelated to the changes to the tee boxes and maintenance.

Walked on as a single on a Sunday morning and was able to get out with the next group. Big plus there. However, the course is in poor condition everywhere outside the greens. Tee boxes barely had any grass. Fairways were dry and had a ton of brown/bald areas that they marked as ground-under-repair, but there were plenty of spots outside GUR that barely had any grass. Bunkers were OK, needed more sand and consistency. The green were lush and well watered. Quite spongy, on the slow side, and kind of bumpy. Saw the beer cart 3 times, which was great in this close to 100 degree weather.

Played 7/3 and they were doing all kinds of work in preparation for the July 4th firework show at the Rose Bowl. The worker didn't bother me and I don't expect it to be a norm. #9 was turned into an 85yd Par3, hopefully that was just temporary for the July 4th event as well.

Fairly typical perhaps slightly above average condition for a busy muni. The tee boxes were level but with a ton of divots. I didn't have a problem finding a clean spot to tee off of and that's all I really care about for a tee box. The fairways were half decent with quite a few brown spots. Again, it wasn't pretty but didn't bother my swing TOO much. The rough areas were inconsistent around the fairways with bald spots here and there but were slightly better around the greens. Best part were the greens. They were pretty smooth, rolled at a medium speed, and didn't have a ton of divots even for an afternoon round. POP was unexpectedly good but I think we just got lucky. Finished an afternoon round in just over 4 hours.
