Played on Sunday the 4th of September, great deal $55 and $15 lunch voucher. Course layout and condition is very good. Service was excellent, saw the cart girl 4 times and the course assistant passing out cold towels. Played in 4 hours as all moved well. Green speed was awful, had to be a 6 on the stimp. Hard to put when you had to ram the ball all the time, going to be in trouble when I play tomorrow on normal greens. Understand the heat on green speed but my lawn is cut shorter than that

Played at 8am this morning and the course was wide open. Played with another guy and it took us 3 hours to play. Overall, course conditions were great. Tee boxes, fairways, rough and bunkers were in excellent condition. Greens were shaggy and a little slow, but I guess that's to be expected considering the time of year. A great facility for the $35 I payed via golfhub.

Called yesterday morning and they were able to get me out early. Nice big range with grass tees, putting green and a chipping green too (didn't have any time to use it). The course it self is not long. There are many options off the tee but with the wind howling the way it did some of the holes that weren't long played much longer. I remember a par 5 on the front that was dead in to the wind and I hit a fairly decent drive and it didn't even go 230 yds. I was staying in Indian Wells and the wind was dead calm there so I don't know how the wind was so much different here. I think from where I stayed I was 5 miles from the course, bizarre. Not sure if this is always the case so beware. There are no holes which will wow you but the course is decent. I did have a little trouble with the GPS. I don't know if I didn't pick it up or maybe I didn't have enough caffine in the morning but I hit in the water on a couple of them. The greens are pretty slick too but man I couldn't hole a putt. The rough is pretty lush too. Paid $130 which I thought was a little high considering but for a price a little less I think it could be well worth it.

wow, what a pleasant surprise!!!! played on 07/05/10. the greens were slow, but the conditioning for this time of the year was second to none. the golf course was much, much better than i had expected. i've played more than half of the golf courses in the coachella valley and this course is the best public course just behind the classic club and both of the indian wells resort courses. the city of palm desert knows what they are doing....fantastic facility!

Played the Mountain View course with my wife and both enjoyed it immensely. I found it challenging and fun to play. My wife, who's a beginner, loved that she could enjoy herself and have success. Although there are a few holes that are a bit close to each other, it really didn't pose a problem with incoming errant shots. The property is beautiful and worth the greens fee. Highly rated.

Mid morning tee time Tuesday 4 ball, following lots of others. Good pace, nice track, lots of drinks cart passes. Challenging enough if you can get a deal. Nice greens, firm and mid paced, lush elsewhere all throughout the course. Not many hidden hazards so you get what you see. Great practice facility and gorgeous clubhouse with great F&B. Pick your days as it can get windy.

I just played Mountain View on Oct 30. The course just came up from overseeding and a 5 month restoration/ updating. The course is in perfect shape although the greens are slow after the overseeding. The courses bunkers are all refreshed and a lot of the waste areas are now bunkers. I would highly reccomend this course to anyone planning to play and visit the Palm Springs area.
