Out here for Mother's Day playing with my Mom and Brother. We got the resident rate from my mom, which was $63 at noon on a Sunday. Much better than the non-resident rate of $112. We played the west/north combo, and the course is in fantastic shape right now. They had a ton of rain the last few weeks, but the course is fully drained and just a pleasure to play. Lush carpet like fairway with rough that is just a touch longer than the fairway, making it easy to play from. Greens were firm and fast but allowed some good check if played right. If you can find a deal, I highly suggest playing here.

MKo's review was a pleasant surprise to read. If my reviews influenced his decision to play here passing many better courses on the way north OK!
On to the review early tee time (3rd? out) showed up earlier in order to move up. Accomplished that as two following two for the usual 3:10 POP. This day a lighter tee sheet than normally busier Sundays with nice weather. Keep pace moving the course is wonderful a slow slog and one could question the travel time out here. (45 mins for me)
Usually on Sundays the first tee visible from 7th green to 9th fairway is stacked with a couple groups when we pass by, hence the longer POP noted by MK's prose.
Greens good / great could be slicker and quicker I would not complain. rated 8 my highest.
Tee boxes a bit shaggy with variable divots and some bumps. They are "working" on improving those most in need. A lower cut would improve or more frequently.
Fairways not tight lies, but firm with the proper rollout for conditions.
Bunkers sand firming up from what I observed and the one I exited well (par 3 14th)
Rough getting sticky and taller as the spring grow out continues. Getting penal as it should.
Grill opens at 7:30 and with "home" style mexican flair I've always liked.
Glad that was also validated in previous review.
Walking rate $45 prime time $20 single seat in cart. Makes it an attractive value for my budget and game. Rather move to more weekday golf at Senior rates, but with my friend still working in the concrete it's Sundays to join him. I play it down. Partner lift clean place.
All good and easy to support a facility like this.
Fun = making a deuce on the longest made putt of the day! (par 3 #3)

Played before 7:00 am on Sunday, Mother's Day. Course was surprisingly crowded when we finished in almost exactly 4 hours. I thought Mother's Day was supposed to be the lightest of the year??

Played before 7:00 am on Sunday, Mother's Day. Course was surprisingly crowded when we finished in almost exactly 4 hours. I thought Mother's Day was supposed to be the lightest of the year??

Short add to my review last week. They fixed the greens. Quickest turnaround I have ever seen. No evidence of any issue. The greens look great. They are running a little faster than medium speed, so not as fast as usual, but they are much better than last week. They were putting more water on the course likely because of the unseasonable heat.

Played today. Greens have come back nicely after 2 weeks. But people are not fixing their divots on the greens. No issues with tee boxes. Fairways are green and provide good lies and rollout. Traps are all playable as new sand has been added to all traps. Very little rough on the outside of the fairways but what is there is playable. As always great customer service from Julius... » More

Played today. Greens have come back nicely after 2 weeks. But people are not fixing their divots on the greens. No issues with tee boxes. Fairways are green and provide good lies and rollout. Traps are all playable as new sand has been added to all traps. Very little rough on the outside of the fairways but what is there is playable. As always great customer service from Julius and his team members. And on Sunday they have a marshal (Ben is his name) and he does a fantastic job in keeping things moving.

Legends is back open as a full 18, however the 7th hole is playing as a 200 yard par 3 while they repair the teeboxes now that the bridge is repaired. Conditions are pretty great, the greens are rolling really nice and are definitely less beat up than Champions with old ball marks/spike marks, rough is grown in, bunkers still very crappy. Beverage cart was by twice (I think it was actually two beverage carts). 12oz Modelo was $6, this is up from $4, someone finally noticed they weren't maximizing profit on Modelo I guess.

One interesting note was an apparent large water leak creating a small lake on the 14th fairway that might have just started when we came through there - maintenance guys were flying by on carts to check it out.

Overall a very nice round, 1:13PM time was $45 on golfnow which was great for a Saturday. We passed a group on the 6th hole and had it wide open the rest of the day, which was awesome.

I think I've always liked this layout more than Champions - doesn't beat you up as much with wider fairways and more inviting greens.

Check it out but don't pay the morning prices.
