Played yesterday and teed off 12:30ish. Front nine was quick, but the back was slow and we finished just before sunset. Not sure where the group playing out the last three holes in front of us came from, but you'll know this guy. The Tiger "wannabe" that hits his drive into the second cut, takes a long look at the approach shot (thinks about changing clubs, but goes with his gut), then chunks it 30 yards. From 150 out he walks off the yardage - maybe it's 152 or 153, gotta be sure - then follows with an approach shot 25 yards wide and short. Two chips later he's on. But hey, you putt for dough, right? As our group waits and watches, he lines up his first and second putt from both sides of the cup and finally drains the third. Slow walks the green and then jogs back for the wedge he left on the fringe. We barely finished - forget about the groups behind us. OK, nuff said. If you do play here, stop for the hamburger at the turn. It's cut to fit in a hot dog bun; looks weird, but man it's good. Oh Yeah! - the course. I've only played here a few times, but I can't remember when the conditioning was better. The fairways are lush and the greens are good. Good value...just hope that "Tiger" isn't lurking in the tree line waiting to jump your fairway.
