Played on 4/17 and the course was in best condition I have ever seen it. The greens, from 1-18 were smooth as glass and running not less than 10.5 on stimp, with many putts being faster due to green udulations. I feel the North course has more character than the South though not as long, and was amazed how perfect the playing conditions were. Unfortunately I believe the fairways were being punched, since the first hole was in process while we teed off. If it was just the first hole being punched than play as soon as possible, because conditions like this don't last long on public tracks.

Played on Thursday, 3/8, and the course was as good as it could get. The fairways were perfect, the traps for a change were playable, and the greens, ah the greens. They are now rolling the greens as well as cutting them and man they were glass perfect. I have played here since opening day and the greens are in the best condition ever. They are very receptive, roll extremely fast and are smooth as glass and consistent from number one to eighteen. The layout of the golf course is very interesting and full of variety, all clubs will probably have to be used to score well. Then you come to the 14th hole, the signature par 3, and dang if it doesn't deserve the title of best par 3 hole in Southern California. The staff is very good at making their customers feel appreciated and pace of play, at least during the week is usually very reasonable, 4 to 4-1/2 hours. This is definitely one of the very best golf experiences the Inland Empire has to offer.

Played on Friday, 3/16, overall course is in very good shape. The greens were running slow since they were going to punch them on the weekend. With coupon it was $29.00 green fee included hot dog and drink, plus all the golf you could play. This is one of the finest layouts within a 50 mile radius. Old fashion design, tree lined fairways, well placed bunkers, many options to get the ball on the green. Once greens heal from aeration this is a must play, though it is a drive, made more tedious by work on the 15 Fwy. If you like the layout at Soboba Springs or Los Serranos than this is the course for you. During summer the greens are usually prestine and quick. Look for coupon discounts and enjoy a good day of golf, out of the smog and away from the infamous 5+ hour weekend round of golf.

Played on Super Bowl Sunday and course was in its usual excellent condition. Greens were fast and smooth, fairways, green, teeboxes level. Staff is one of the best in the Inland Empire, courteous and informative, and try to keep the pace of playing flowing. Legends, though rated the same as the Champions, is definitely the more difficult course. The bunkering on the Legends is severe around most of the greens, making a run up all but impossible. A lot of construction going on so play soon before it becomes like some generic housetrack type of golf experience,

Played on 01/25 and must say if they spent as much money as rumored, couldn't tell where it was spent. Yes a lot of brush has been removed, easing the course, not necessarily improving it. The greens are smooth and putt true, but are not any better than the majority of greens in Inland Empire (Empire Lakes, Goose Creek, SCPGA, Eagle Glen, Oak Valley, Yuciapa, etc). Lay out is nice, challenging, but not with the teeth of SCPGA or Oak Valley. For the money, $85.00 weekday, you can play Oak Valley, pay for gas, get lunch, and enjoy a nicer experience. I don't understand how this course can be the highest rated course on this site. Most golfers must not play in the Inland Empire, because the conditions here would rank good to excellent but would not compete in bang for the buck honors.

Played on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, great day alittle bit chilly early. Goose Creek is a course you can count on to be in very good to excellent condition, with outstanding customer service. The practice area is second to none, and when hitting balls at the range you will see almost new balls constantly. Wish other courses would follow the Goose Creek lead and provide good teeing areas on driving range, with balls that don't look like they have been run over by a mower. This is truly one of the best managed golf course in the Inland Empire, maybe all of So. Cal.

Course is in very good shape. It is easier to play than the South due to its length, but still offers a good variety of holes and challenges for all but those sticks that drive it close to 300 yards and can control their irons. At the end of the round us mortals with drives of less than 250 yards, the North will feellike a good fit. A good score reauires straight drives and good iron shots, the greens are not fast or tricky. A good course to feel good about your game if you are a single digit handicap with less then 250+ yard average drives.

Was really looking forward to reviewing this course but had an accident and totally trashed my rotator cuff on 10/24. Say a prayer for Golfingdude if you are a believer, praying for some good news as to severity of injury. With Multiple Sclerosis this is the only sport left for me to enjoy, and can't imagine not being able to enjoy its beauty, challenge, and great company. Praying to be able to post some more feedbacks before too long.

Played on 10/21 and course was in excellent conditions. It is not a difficult course to play, no tricked up holes, yet it is interesting enough to keep your attention. Greens are some of the best to be found a muni type course. For the price this is one of the best bargains in the area, good fairways, bunkers, hole variety, and excellent greens. Play here and you will have enjoyable day on the links. Try and avoid weekend play as it can be very slow due to all the tournaments the course attracts.

Played on 10/19 and though course was in good shape, it was cart path only. Weather conditions were the reason, overseeding had not taken hold yet. Still one of the best places to play in the area, course design and condition, staff, and practice area are first rate. Par threes are not very exciting, all similiar length, but the rest of the course more than makes up for it. Most play

Actually this is the California Golf and Arts or Arts and Golf Club. Played on 10/12 for the third time in a month and a half due to the coupon good for a $10.00 round of gold, anytime, any day, heck you can pay that much for a large bucket at some courses. It is a wide open track, wide fairways, few bunkers, playable rough. The course has some of the smallest greens in the area, and considering the course caters to the 'senior golfer' it is usually long, over 7,000 yards from tips, about 6600 from the blue tees. Greens were smooth but hard to get a read on. The broke every which way, they had no real place they broke from or to. Still short putts could be made with a firm stroke. Unforunately the $10.00 special ended on 10/13 and I think the daily rate is about $40.00 weekdays, $55.00 weekends. Needless to say we will not be driving to Sun City again unless another fantastic coupon makes it necessary.

Played on 10/10 and course was playing fair. Greens, fairways, rough, and bunkers were in good condition. North is much shorter than South and before they lost the trees was the choice of most locals. Without trees the course is on the boring side, though easier to score on due to the shorter distances of holes. Still interensting enough to keep you motivated if you are playing well, and is about $5.00 less the South. Also groups playing the North tend to play faster than those who choose the South, since the hackers on the South usually play from tees too much for their game to handle. Play the South before 7:30 or else take the North course so you can finish before lunch.
