I played this course as the second and final leg of my Vegas (actually Henderson) Golf Extravaganza. This course contrasts dramatically from its sister-course, the Lexington. The landing areas at The Concord are much more generous, meaning that most holes allow players to go ahead and bang driver. For that reason, I think mid to high handicappers would have a lot more fun on this resort style course.
The overall layout of this course is a little less memorable, but there are still many challenges around the greens. Also, the views of Las Vegas are spectacular, and the 18th hole is a real peach.
Course conditions are good for the dog days of summer, and the bunkers are in much better shape than on The Lexington.
Customer service was, once again, second to none. The employees were attentive and professional at every turn. I will be back ... hopefully soon!

I may be a little jaded in my comments but that is because the Marshall nagged us to pick up the pace. We were playing a 4 hour pace. He only came to warn us after a local 2-some passed our group and obviously complained. When we got to a par 3 we were going to let them play through. We went back and they were struggling on a long hole. So yes, I have a problem when a course listens to a local rather than looking at the actual pace of play.

As for the course, it was "Good from far, but far from good". The tee boxes were not mowed. They were uneven, tore up and often pointing in the wrong direction. The fairways were ok. The rough was dead in some locations so you were hitting off of dead grass and hard pan. The greens were in good condition. The sand traps were more like rock traps. Seriously, 25% of the trap was rocks about 1/8"-1/4" in size. In some, there were 6" rocks that had rolled into the traps. And forget about anyone raking the traps. I don't blame the golfers because there are no rakes. There was one trap that was about 100 feet long and it had one rake. Then again, there were so many rocks and they were so hard, you barely left a mark.

Its an ok course, but for the fee, I expect more. I will say that the club house staff and the range staff were excellent.

Played the 6th, course was completely different condition than Lexington. While Lexington's rough was green and thick, the Concord rough was dormant and short. Greens rolled well on the back after being baked in the sun all day they were impossible to putt on. Several putts would go by the hole and just not stop.

First time here, straight forward layout without alot of tricks. Picturesque views of the mountains and the Strip in the distance. Only real water was on #18. Lots of elevation changes, one beautiful downhill par 3 on the back that has one of the most elevated tees I have ever played. Played Sunday A.M. 11/27/11 on a GK coupon from a GK event. Played as a 2some, easy paced 4 hour round.

The greens were medium fast & rolled well. Traps were raked and well maintained. Dormant bermuda rough & around the greens made for nice fluffy lies. The over seeded fairways were in good shape, a few tight lies here and there but nice overall. A few tees were unlevel and in marginal condition would be the only negative on course condition.

The only negative was that the carts had GPS but it only provided the distance to the front, middle and back of the green? Considering I had never seen the course before, distances to traps off the tee interested me more on a par 4/5 than that I was "X" yards from a point on the green.

I would definitely come back, the staff was attentive and friendly.

Played November, course is not overseeded. Fairways are dormant bermuda, hilly fairways ball can come back as far forward. Too bad, great club always fun but needs taken care of in the winter.

Played in the early afternoon on Sunday, 6/1/08, on a sunny, warm windy day. I've played this course several times before and enjoy the good playability and variety of holes - elevation changes, large greens, resort-style course. Due to the water shortages in the Vegas area the course is converting many turf areas to waste or low-water landscapiong, so right now there's a transition/torn up feel to many holes. When complete, the course will play tougher than in the past because hitting lanes and areas will be more restricted. Greens were in good shape and held shots fairly well, but I am always amazed by how many ball marks are left unrepaired. While golfers frequently complain about course conditions, a large percentage of golfers aparently don't bother to repair diviots on greens, rake traps, or fill divots with the seed mix most courses provide - why? Bunkers were fairly hard with a coarse variety of sand. Many turf areas were in poor condition and were being resodded (due to slopes?) or were very thin and almost looked dead. Cart girl came by 3 or 4 times during the round. Having just come out of the prime winter season, and before the temperatures have gotten too high, I was expecting better conditions. Recommended, but hoping for better turf conditions in the future.

Played saturday 5/10.. The customer service is top notch, and very accommadating (out late enjoying the Vegas night life, and there was no way we could make a 9:30 tee time easliy changed it, no problem) Greens were being aerated so we got a discounted rate.. $120 Overall a nice course, many blind shots elevation changes and tight fairways.. Like I mentioned the greens were being aerated so not so great on that one.. Most of the fairways were lush and in great shape but a few holes on the back nine had bare spots. The course is being converted to a "Desert" course, so the rough was being dried out to basically let it die.. But I liked the course and the lay out, it will be interesting to see how it shapes up..
