Played Tuesday, 10/21/08, in the late afternoon on a cool, perfect day. Course was fairly crowded but moved OK. Course condition was generally good - greens receptive and medium slow, some fairways wet or thin. Course recently converted large areas to desert landscaping but there are still adequate hitting areas. Water available, no cart girl. Got in 16 holes in 3 hours. Lose the "GPS", please - all commercials and useless crap.

Greens were slow, fairways were fast. Course was in decent shape.

The greens were more sand than green, and the rough was very unkept. Fairways weren't in bad shape overall, but still not great. When you book a tee time they should tell you what the conditions are that you're looking at so you're at least aware before you spend the money.

The course is in pre-overseed condition. The fairways were in fair shape, but the rough was exactly that, rough. The greens were like walking on the beach there was so much sand on them. There were 3-4 greens that you couldn't see any green, just sand. Overall I wasn't too please with the playing conditions, and when I booked the tee time they didn't say anything about the conditions being as they were. The green fee was a little steep, even being a resident, for the condition of the course. I would have to say on a scale of 1-10, it was about a 3.

Nice layout, fair conditions. Not very tough, but enjoyable. Not worth the $80 plus we paid.

A great price, but you get what you pay for. Played in the late afternoon Thursday, 8/16 for $21 locals rate - sunny, hot, only light breezes, so very good conditions for summer in Vegas. But course is not in very good condition, with scattered alternating bone dry and sloppy wet fairway conditions, 4 temporary greens, and other greens all had something ongoing (sanded, discing, sprinklers on while we were on them, etc.). When in good condition this course is a good test of long accurate driving, a good variety of holes, and attractive large homes. But the staff is struggling to make it playable. It will take at least a few more weeks to be really playable, and who knows what aerification season will bring. Many other choices available in the Vegas area.

The greens are still not in very good shape. Many bare, patchy areas. This is really unfortunate since they completely redid the greens last year. Other local courses do not have this problem, must be the greenskeeper's fault. With decent greens, this could return to being a nice layout. The price is certainly good, but currently it's not worth it.

Played Sunday morning, 3/4/07, on a warm sunny day with only light breezes – ah, those Vegas winter days. Last year this course underwent a complete renovation due to watering system problems, and has now rebounded fairly well to be a good bargain in the Vegas area. Conditions were generally good – greens were cut close but weren’t too fast, but rolled well. Fairways and traps were in pretty good shape. Plenty of water available, and we saw the cart girl frequently. Friendly staff, you hit off grass (at least today) at the range, big practice putting green with realistic undulations and distances. Be prepared to drive the ball long and straight on the back nine. No yardage book, but the course is pretty well marked. Big negative - there’s a useless, distracting GPS in each cart – a small line at the bottom displays 3 numbers, which we assumed were front/middle/back of the green. No hole or green illustrations, no ‘tips’. The rest of the screen is given up to unending commercials and ads, stock quotes, and sports info. If you have time to look at all that baloney, you’re not playing golf.

Great gem. The greens were still bumpy and slow but should come around soon. Definitely worth the greens fee.

The greens were still bumpy and hairy when I played on 2/21/07, but I was told that is an improvement over the previous ones. The course itself was in good shape and was a lot of fun. Nice changeup of holes, cart service was a plus, showers in the clubhouse, and not too far from the strip. The price is awesome for peak season in Vegas.

The course was just FAIR - the fairwayys were in great shape - but the greens were bad - very slow, bumpy, and hairy - they need another month or so and then then they might be ok ???
Sorry, they won't see me for awhile !!!!!

Played 10/26/2006 at midafternoon in great weather. This course has recovered well from water system problems earlier this year that killed the greens. Greens are still rough and shaggy from recent overseed/aeration, but will soon be in very good condition - right now they are very slow. They've flipped the nines since I played last year - much shorter nine now plays first, and the new back nine has several long par 4s and narrow 5s that require long accurate driving. Water in play on many holes. If condition continues to improve, this will be a good bargain in the Vegas area.

Went to the practice range on 8/15. Spent some time riding around, they are spending a lot of $ redoing all the greens and expanding all the lakes. Will check back after Oct when complete but looks like it will be a great improvement.

All greens were painted green sand--not a blade of grass! The course superintendent should be ashamed of his/her course and offer a refund of green fees!!!!

haven't played here in years. i guess they have new management and have made the course much easier, taking a lot out of play. the cart girl was around every two-three holes and was very friendly. the marshalls on the other hand came by frequently, but weren't doing their job.
