this course is a turd, felt like i was golfing in my backyard. There is no way this should be a resort course. After playing nice courses on my vacation I accidentally booked this mistake. Course lay out pretty boring, flat, and very hard tofind your ball if off fairway, even in fairway there are hardly any yardage markers. Back nine better, however if you are going to mesquite play the othercourses......

Heard that this is the local's place to play golf & the first gc in Mesquite. Was not expecting much from this course when our group played here, but was pleasantly surprised. The two nines are different & the condition is great.

No_Mulligans - Rialto 
Last year we vowed never to play The Palms again because the playing conditions we’re deplorable. Nice folks, good service, but not worth the green fee. THIS YEAR for whatever reason we gave the course another shot and playing conditions were significantly improved. Seems they have a new Super that turned things around. The Palms is a challenging course with a relatively flat front nine and hilly back nine. It’s not as an exciting layout as the others courses in Mesquite but the price is right and place is wide open. It’s NOT a must play but it’s certainly a fun play. I believe it was the first course built in Mesquite.
