played on 7-4-08, The course is on a mountain side, so lots of sloping fairways and elavated tees. The views are beautiful, bring a camera. Paid only $50.00, can't beat the summer rates, normally $150+. Pace was good, but the par 3 does get back up a bit. One of the most difficult course i have played on, but can't wait to play again.

all i can say is play this course. breathe taking. every hole you'll say wow what a hole. tip:the elevated par 3's play 2 clubs less, oh yes 6 iron from 210yrds. good luck.ps golfnow.com has great prices for this course during the weekdays if you can skip out on work.lol

Played Gold Canyon Dinosaur on 3/24/07. The course is in great shape. I hate to think that these greens may be the best I'll play all year long - and this is my first of the year! Great layout and views. Played the Sidewinder course the same day for half price. Sidewinder is not as spectacular as Dinosaur and maybe a step down on conditioning, but is still enjoyable. Great staff also.....a must visit when in the PHX area.

Stayed and played here in Dec 2006. Golf course is terrific,staff is very good, service and on site food very good. If you are looking for nightlife off site your out of luck.but we loved the place, its just upscale golf. On course staff was best looking we have EVER seen. We are going back this year.
