Bennett Valley is the standard by which all muni courses should aspire to. Awesome conditions, great greens, friendly staff and reasonable prices.

With such a dry winter as this year, it is extremely playable.

A very nice course for the money. Slower on weekends. Not much marshalling. Can get mushy with significant rain. Good customer service/nice people working there.

This course can be very wet in the Winter. That along with slow play can make for a long day. The price is at a point where a lot of beginners can afford to play this course which can contribute to the slowness.

With the start of the rainy season the back nine has several spots that balls will almost plug. Little or no bounce and roll in some areas on the fairways.

Narrow fairways with lots of trees makes accuracy a must. Course is always in great shape considering the amount of play that it gets.

Front nine is much better than the back, requiring more precise shot making and keeping ball in play. Back is pretty much straight away. Lately the course is like a can of Cambell's thick and chunky with all of the holes marked as par 3's. Good deal though, when dry the fairways are fast, greens moderate, undulant, and challenging. Some nice scenic holes if you're into that sort of thing.
