Played here 12/31/07 with Xavier????. He booked the tee time on golfnow for $44.00. Arrived at course at 0620 for our 0645 tee. Checked in with the starter and he said we had to pay $62. I explained that we booked the time on golfnow for $44 but he insisted we pay the $62. To make it even worse we paid a $2 booking fee so we actually ended paying $64 (can someone explain to me why I should pay a fee and not get a discount). Anyways, the course was in good shape. Greens were rock hard and fast. Traps are excellent. I just with the customer service in the pro shop was better. For what it ended up costing us we should have played Goose Creek.

Played a two day tournament here 10-18 to 10-19. Course was in excellent condition. Fairways and traps were perfect. Greens were a little slow but rolled very true. Only complaints are regarding the lack of map of course on scorecard/tee box and the difficulty determining pin position due the abscence of colored flags or a green diagram on cart. Each flag was white and I could not tell where pin was on green (the little red flag beneath is hard to see from 200 yards especially when it is windy). I hate courses that force you to buy yardage books and I refuse to purchase them for that reason. To sum it up, a great golf course but either install GPS or put some maps on the cards or tee boxes.

Played here 8/31/07. Course conditions were almost perfect but the 5.5 hour round will make me think twice about returning. It is never a good sign when 10 carts are lined up on the first tee box. Waited to hit every shot all day long. I don't think I will return until something is done about speeding up the pace of play at this place.

Played here 8/16/07. Course was in great shape from tee to green. What a bargain at $22 to walk. Cannot wait to play again.

I should have read my 2 prior reviews of this course before deciding to give it another shot here. The greens are TERRIBLE. Half of them are just dirt. Spend your money somewhere else when in Las Vegas.

Played here 03/05/07. Showed up at 1:10 PM and went out immediately. Hooked up with another twosome on the first tee and we breezed through 18 in just over 3 hours. Greens were in very good shape. Fairways, traps and tee boxes were average. This course makes up for its lack of length with narrow fairways, numerous water hazards and plenty of trees. This place isn't Goose Creek or Oak Quarry but if you are looking for a quick round at the right price ($14 twilight to walk) you can't beat Upland Hills.

Very disappointed in course conditions. Played here 02/19/2007. Greens were in very POOR shape with many bare spots. Fairways were decent but rough, tee boxes and traps were below average. Definitely not worth the $100+ green fee. What has happened to this place?

Played here on a windy day 1/15/07. 10:21 AM tee time so we arrived at 9:55 AM. As expected there was a frost delay and we were informed by the starter that there would be a 10:00 AM shotgun for all groups that had not been allowed out. Figured we were in for a long day. Could not have been farther from the truth as we breezed through 18 holes in just over four hours. Having not been here for almost six years I was very surprised with the amount of work put in to this place. Fairways, traps, tee boxes and greens were almost perfect. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. I will definitely become a regular at this place.

Played front nine on 01/14/07. Course was decent shape considering the cold weather we have been through the past week. Greens were great. Fairways and tee boxes were decent. Tight course where you wont hit driver on all par 4's. I dont think I would ever pay $50 for this place but the $20-30 seems fair.

Played here 01/01/2007. Let me start by saying the only positive thing I have to say about this place, excluding #1-2 the greens were VERY nice. They rolled smooth and fast even though I struggled with them all day. Now to the rest about this place. Fairways and tee boxes were in the worst shape I have ever seen them. Half the tee boxes were just mud and sand. Fairways had many brown patches or just plain mud. The course conditions today were totally inexcusable. El Prado is in better shape. At $70 for this place I expect more. This place seems to be heading down hill quickly and I will not return for quite a while.

Arrived at 6:00 AM for my 6:20 AM tee time to find nobody in the the pro shop and at least 20 golfers lined up at the door. Somebody finally showed up at 6:25 AM then we had to wait 10 minutes for the computer system to be up and running. Then the guy in the shop has the nerve to be a jerk. Finally got out about 7:00 This is totally unacceptable and not the first time that it has happened (see Xavier's report from Thanksgiving Day). As far as the course goes the greens are pretty good but could be a little quicker. Tee boxes need some work. Don't care for the new sand in the traps as it is too fluffy which left me with at least 4 fried egg lies. I am not asking for a perfect lie but these traps are just plain unfair. Sand needs to be compacted a bit. Overall a good value for the price but American Golf needs to quit hiring these "kids" who are not responsible enough to show up to work on time.

Played here 11/17/06. Had not been back here for almost a year and I must say it appears that the Goose has lost it's luster. Upkeep appears to have slipped just a little. Greens had many bare spots and were painfully slow. Fairways and traps were in decent shape but overall I was slightly disappointed with what is one of my favorite courses in the area. Pace of play was the lone positive as we finished in just over 4 hours on a Friday afternoon. Almost forgot, make sure you bring you flyswatter because they are out of control right now. I have never seen so many flies in my life.
