the bad--i'm not a huge fan of the layout. you end up with a lot of semi-blind approach shots. it's got some fantastic holes and others that are akward and not much fun to play. empty lot pads surrounding holes 11-->17.

I'm a tough critic, but this course leaves something to be desired. it's hard to put a finger on it, but it just wasn't an enjoyable round for me.

played today 6/8 and 9....greens were great, but on 9th they were slice cutting the greens, but still ran great, a hole was being aerated but don't know if they will do all the others. the course was a great deal $35 for summer rate and a great challenge..make sure you play this course. From the back tees it is quite a challenge..maybe play from the "hawk" tees first unless you are a single digit!!!

This is rapidly becoming my favorite course in the Coachella Valley! I highly recommend it for everyone. Challenging without being impossible. Beautifully maintained, friendly attentive staff. This course is especially nice for those who play the forward tees- they are not just closer. Thought has been given to making them challenging too. Fun to play!

Played 5/8 tee'd off at 710am and finished at 1036am..wha what!! Yup under 4hrs hated to leave the course so quickly. The course is in awesome shape and for the price, it'll be hard to find a better course for money. Everyone was great, my only drawback was that the first tee time is at 7am. First light is around 545am. Oh well I guess they like to sleep in. I will definatley play this course again, but after I cross off some other off my Coachella list. Next up is the Classic Club.

Played on 4/1/10 with my wife. It's interesting when researching Palm Springs courses that the same courses are always mentioned. Eagle Falls is not in any magazine or publication. Really the only time I hear about Eagle Falls is on Greenskeeper. The course clubhouse is a trailer (ala Olivas Links) and it's behind a casino and you begin to worry if it's where you want to spend one of your afternoons during your vacation, especially the one I brought my wife on. But, it's a great course with generous fairways and excellent conditions. On the fun scale it rates very high. For me the challenge was the greens. I couldn't read the breaks very well and was wondering if I was missing something about it breaking towards something in the area. Anyways excellent course and well deserving of all the high ratings of GK members. BTW my wife shot 94, her best score ever and loved it!! I have a feeling she'll want to play it anytime we return, which we will.

This course will be among the best I've played. I will look forward to playing here again. The tee boxes are perfect greens were perfect as was the entire course. This is a must play.

Played 18 here today. All I can say is "wow". SBogey's been talking about what a nice course it was and how much he enjoyed playing here last year with Johnny and a few other GK'ers. We figured we'd give it a try. Got a pretty good rate so even though it was windy we hit the links.

First- this course is BEAUTIFUL. Undulating green everywhere- fairways and greens. Flowers in bloom absolutely every spot possible. Very nice layout- challenging but fair. Superb condition. Greens moderately fast and breaking true. Just obviously a well loved and cared for course. (And the wind was really only a factor on 3 or 4 holes. The rest are fairly well protected.)

Next- This is a very woman friendly course. Now don't stop reading guys! Many courses do not give any thought to women players and our strengths. They simply move the tees up and think "Ok, it's shorter so fine. Done Deal." Well, sometimes that works out but often what it does is remove the challenge of the course and just makes it shorter- not better. This course doesn't do that. The forward tees are placed with some concern as to making the hole challenging AND also playable by women. I SO appreciated this. The distances were reachable and still made me plan and execute each shot carefully. I'm guessing that this is one reason why there were plenty of women playing this course. It was obvious that this is the norm - from the first when the cart caddies asked us who was driving! We play together a lot and this is the first time that the cart guys have not automatically assumed SBogey was driving! I really enjoyed this course from start to finish. Challenging but fair- apparently for both men and women and all skill levels. (SBogey has a lot of great things to say about it too) The golfers were about evenly mixed gender-wise. (see guys? great place to find women who also golf!)

If you go golfing in the Coachella Valley and don't play this course you have really cheated yourself. We've played a lot of courses in the area from high end to nevermind and this is definitely now one of my favorites! We'll be back!
