Played there about 2 weeks ago while in Vegas on Vacation, they had just reopened from over overseed and aeration and OMG the course was beautiful.
My fiance and I played, had a 10am tee time, was deff a 5 hour round which totaly sucked but the views and vistas keep you occupied. . .
Tiger Woods hold the course record, its cool they put his scores for each hole on the Scorecard, its like you can play a match with Tiger!
Don't worry he torched me, but I did break 80!
Greens were nice, fast but you could hold shots. . . Very playable
Sand was immaculate, I was in 3 bunkers got up and down from all 3, very consistent..
Only problem of the day was that we got paired up with a guy who got a "Tee Mate" which is a "dancer" from one of Harrah's shows in Vegas, in our case X-burlesque...
It would have been cool but like I said I was with my Fiance....
All in all will go back when I'm in Vegas, it is a MUST PLAY!

awesome great summer rates. only issue was they are rebuilding a hole, usually a par 4 now setup temporarily as a par 3.

played course on 1/3 and it was in fabulous shape for this time of year. greens were fast but held excellently. only complaint was lack of sand in most bunkers which i found plenty!! great layout with imagination needed around the greens. great use of elevation changes and fabulous views of the strip and surrounding area! top 5 golf course in vegas i believe. only paid 59 dollars with local id which is incredible! friend from ny paid 150 dollars but still said it was worth every penny. highly recommended especially for locals right now for that price! play it now!!

Played late December. Greens were firm but putted very well. Some ball mark damage on a few greens that were often in the shade and suffered from the hard ground. Pace was quick - we were able to play 36 holes after teeing off at 9am and finished by 4pm. The bermuda rough may not look good this time of year, but it plays well and the winter rye mixed in gives the fairways a healthy look/play.

Nice physical layout of clubhouse, range and first tee. Very convenient. The course is fun to play, and is challenging without being impossible or unfair. The condition this time of year is superb, which is curious because I can't remember seeing very many maintenance staff around. It was a great golf experience.

Great Course for afternoon time. Got in at half price and still got 18 done. Worth the $100. Greens were rolling true and lived up to their speed. Only issue I noticed was the ballmarks on the greens which were all over the place ! Played in late December. Loved the fact you have to think and plan your shotmaking. Definately recommend !

Played Sat Morning 5/20. I was a little late after a long night on the strip but the staff was completely accommodating. They still allowed me to grab a bite and warm up. Got on the course and the conditions are second to none. Greens rolled true all day. Fairways were in great shape, no bare spots to be seen. Rough was short and not to punishing. Views are awesome! Weather is beginning to warm up but the cart girl came around a half dozen time, just pefect enough to keep hydrated. Would play again in a heartbeat. When in Vegas, open up the wallet and drop some cash on the course. It beats leaving it on the tables. If you decide to let the cash flow a little, the Rio Secco is absolutely worth it.

After playing 4 days in Vegas during late February we realized Rio Secco was in great shape in comparison to many other LV courses. The staff was very helpful as we showed up late for our tee time. They accomodated us and we glad to have us. The course has some dramatic views of the valley and of the Strip. Great layout and a great conditioning. We would definitely go back.

Played 11/26 at 12:10 PM. We played the 18th in the semi-dark, with the lit up Vegas strip as a backdrop behind the 18th green--spectacular!! Every hole has views. We played in gale conditions (gusts to 50 mph), but course seemed wide enough to be playable. Some of the best and fastest greens I've played. A great deal if you get $100 twilight rate.

Played at 1PM on Sunday, 10/30, and finished with barely enough light to see our putts on 18. Never saw a course ranger all day – at these prices, I guess they figure that people don’t want to be hurried. If you aren’t hitting it straight, you can spend a lot of time dropping penalty shots, or stupidly risking snakebite or broken ankles in the waste areas and canyons. Several visually stunning holes, especially on the back nine, with canyon and Strip views. VERY fast greens, which were firm and in perfect condition. Canyon setting was visually striking, and overall course was in primo condition. Recommended – bring your checkbook!

Played this course October 6th and found it to be a nice desert course. It was immacculately maintained with short fairway grass and unpredictable greens. Some were very fast, and others slow. (damp)
Overall a very nice course, but frankly not worth at all the $225.00 price tag to play. So, unless the resort is paying your way, or at least steeply discounting as it did for my father ( not me!), I would find another less costly course to play in Vegas .

Tough and tight, but well conditioned and has some great views of the Las Vegas valley.
