Ontario Top Golf open !!

Time to move up to the next level with the grandkids from the mini-golf at Punch Bowl Social.

Groups of GKers playing a team event at a Top Golf facility?

OH Yeah...

that'd be FUN!
Multiple teams, adjoining stalls, food and beverage service.

They have safety nets on the upper levels for that sort of play.

Be great to put together a GK day at the El Segundo facility once all the initial hype dies down and it becomes easier to get 3 or 4 adjacent bays. I'm partial to El Segundo of course because it's a 10 minute drive from my place in PdR!

Legitimate question....
Is top golf worth "it" for the golfer who plays and hits the range regularly? Never been to one and am curious about the El Segundo location (also about 10 mins away) but don't want to be disappointed.

If you are going strictly for the golf it is 100% not worth the $60-75 an hour weekend rates.

However that being said the idea of top golf is to get people together to eat and drink as well as play some of their many golf games they have. Max people per bay is 6 golfers and with that many you end up hitting 20 balls each depending on the type of game you play. The handful of times I've been to a top golf we normally play the top tracer simulator as they have 12 or so courses to play. With 4 people it you can expect to play 6-7 holes an hour depending on the skill of the golfers.

All in all its a great place to bring a bunch of friends golfers or not to eat, drink, or play just dont expect too much for the golf part.

PS- Get a reservation as wait times can exceed 3 hours on the weekend
