Lets all give a thumbs up to Enagic Golf Club at Eastlake...

They gave me the option to reschedule so the outing is canceled for tomorrow.

That was good revenue on the books for them on a day not many are showing up to play. They were totally cool completely more concerned about our enjoyment than their cash register.

Everyone will get a refund and/or store credit depending how you purchased it. Give me and Vic some time on how to sort that out. But rest assured we got you covered.

This might be the first outing I've ever had to cancel due to rain. That sucks but we'll make it up.




Enagic Golf Club - Chula Vista, CA
Sunday, November 8th
Tee Times: 11:07am - 12:00pm
Includes: Green fees + Cart, Range Balls, Contests and Prizes!
Format: Open Play - No Scoring


Field: 32 Players
Entry Fee: $75

* Update 10/21: The last heat wave burned out the majority of the fresh rye grass so the golf course is not going to be as lush as originally anticipated for our outing. However the fairways will still be good shape (not great) because they are predominately bermunda grass turf which does well in the heat.

- Welcoming a new supporter of our GK Community, this is the comeback golf course of year in San Diego. A great amount of capital has been invested in improving the golf course conditions and layout. The golf course hosted the return of the San Diego County Open on 10/13 – 10/15 and is a home of the Farmers Insurance Open Pre-Qualifying. Beautiful fun challenging design by architect Ted Robinson. I played the golf course back in July with fellow GKers, it was in great shape and a blast to play. Check out the photos and reviews. The rate for the outing is the same as the local rate of $75 (non-local rate $125) plus all the fun and prizes included as part of GK Plays outing, this is a great deal. Currently sponsored by LINKSOUL and GOLFMOOSE and ROYAL LINKS – working on more prizes. I’ll have GK SWAG there as well. Come play!

Awesome!!! I've wanted to get over there since they changed ownership and this sounds like the perfect time to come out of my hibernation from golf this month (too busy and been a little sore from a surf trip I took a couple of weeks ago). Stand by Johnny, I will ask the wife if I am available and she might even join us. Thanks!!!

Good advice but not to knock on wood GK Plays have had some luck in dodging rain on raining day forecasts. I like that we are playing in late morning/afternoon because sometimes these storms blow through quicker.
