Hi, All. I am just wondering why I don't hear as much about this course as I used to. The last two recent reviews were good, but it's just seldom. It's gotten away from me but, I'm guilty of it too, I haven't visited in a long while.

This course is class A1 to me. Their course design and lay out is awsome including their conditions. The customer service were good, too.

I plan to visit more, soon. But I'm just wondering... Is it still the same Good-Good place?

It is still awesome Noel - right up there with Eagle Falls as far as best deal in the desert. I was visiting the area in February, went by the course, looked like it was in super shape...did not play it although so I don't know exactly how good the greens are rolling or how the ball is sitting in the fairways. The green fee last year was over $200 this time, now only $125...and you get all the service and incredible facility Troon provides...go for it.

Thanks, Johnny. $125 from over $200 sounds like a good discount, but it's still up there. But then, this course is one of those course that would be worth it.

Thanks, again.

Played here twice last year and loved it - summer both times so hot/hot/hot, but the course provides plenty of water. Not intimidating off the tees, and water comes into play on the back but is not terrifying - the main challenge for me was reading the greens and trying to factor in the 'Indio break'. Course was in excellent condition both times - great tees, fairways, and bunkers, greens held shots and were quick and true. Haven't played here in strong winds, which apparently can be bad and heard that was why the pros wanted it dropped from the Bob Hope rotation. Highly recommended.
