I have played this course 3 times and always enjoyed. The first time was tough because I was by myself, who knew no one would be there at 10 am on a Wednesday when it was 90 degrees in the shade (a cool day for this part of Texas!). There are some blind shots and places that will run out if you're not careful. The layout is interesting (you go by the halfway house thrice), not much water in play ample fairways with tough approaches to smallish greens. You are constantly surrounded by trees (or in them). The price is right and if you find yourself in Conroe check it out!
