Great beautiful course in the Cnayons. Really tough, but enjoyable. Don't think it is worth the $235 plus we paid. Played TPC Ponte Vedra in Florida for a lot less.

First time playing TPC Las Vegas and I loved it. The day was made better by sharing the round with lvbigblue and perfect weather. What impressed me the most about the layout was how well every hole set-up off the tee visually/interesting while at the same time providing plenty of opportunities to score well with good shots yet when a shot was poorly struck, it quickly showed it teeth. The greens were tricky but not in a “potato chip” way but with subtle breaks and false fronts. You don’t get any crazy lies or gimmicky holes many desert courses will throw at you. This is a perfect mixture of position golf that allows the driver to be hit with confidence. Great fair test of golf which is obviously the case since the course has been a host of a PGA Tour event over the last 10 years.

As for the playing conditions, a bit dry but no complaints regarding playability. The greens ran true, smooth, medium/fast and receptive. The fairways provided tight lies and lots of roll (which certainly shortened the course). The bermuda rough was in a dormant state so we were fortunate from a scoring perspective. The sand traps and tee boxes were all excellently maintained.

As for the service, everything you would expect from a TPC Course, tremendous.

Played here on a perfect weather day for golf. Great customer service and got great rate through Johnny GK (courtesy of TPC Las Vegas). Thanks again John. Course was in good shape seems to be getting plenty of play at this PGA venue course. Greens were most receptive I have played in Vegas recently. Layout is sort of vanilla on the front 9 but picks up on the back with many canyons which I found too often. Nice views on many holes. Course actually is not that long with many birdie chances available. Greens are tricky to read I found. Good layout but I still prefer Badlands for true desert golf experience. Great course but a bit pricey for my liking.

Played 8/16. This is a great all-around course. The layout is very challenging and rewards well placed shots. The greens are fast and consistent. Some holes had ball mark damage but overall great greens that challenge your ability to lag putt. The par 3s are all enjoyable and challenging. Definitely worth it and highly recommended whenever you're in Vegas.

Played here on 7/19 and this course is great for $75. The temp was about 108 but it didn't seem that bad. I thought from tee to green everything was in great shape. I played from the tips which don't seem to measure as far as the scorecard indicates because of the amount of roll you get out of your shots. Next time I'm back in Vegas I will be looking to get back on here.

Played in the morning on 7/4/2007, on a clear hot and windless day. This course is used during the pro tourney here in Vegas. Many forced carries over washes and arroyos from the back tees, and anglers to the fairways are also very different on some holes. Significant difference in what you are faced with from the whites (6000 yards) and blues (6700 yards), so make sure you play the tees that suit your game. Greens are large and mostly flat. Lots of sand, waste areas, slopes, and steep arroyos where your ball goes never to come back. Course is visually very appealing – one of the best looking courses I’ve played in the Vegas area. Dramatic small arroyos and canyon cuts either border or cross many holes, you’ve got views of the city and mountains, and large homes are present but not intrusive (however, the architect was pinched on the location of the 17th tee). The entire course was in excellent condition – greens have recovered from aeration about 5 weeks ago and were receptive but rolled well and were fast. Fairways were in good shape, bunkers and waste areas were raked. Cart girls came by 3 or 4 times each 9. Be aware that there needs to be more water on the course, especially when it’s hot in the summer – only one water stop on each side, but there is an ICE MACHINE at each one! I played poorly, but I want another crack at this place. Highly recommended.

The fairways were in great shape. The greens had just been aerated on May 30th (Wed) and were a little slow and bumpy - but you could tell that in 2 weeks or so they would be in great shape. The service was great and everyone was very nice. Had a great day of golf - didn't shoot very well. But it was fun !!!!!

Played on a Monday in less than 3 1/2 hrs. They have a forecaddie program implemented and as always worth the extra $'s.Course was in excellent condition and a must play when you are in Vegas.

This is a great course, in great shape. We played on monday and it was well worth the experience. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcome. I think the slope is a little low from the blues (128, same as Rancho San Juaquin), but what an experience. I would suggest playing here if you are in the Vegas area.

Played in late July and loved it. Great course in beautiful condition, and a good deal for the summer rate.

Played on 8/6/06. It was very impressive morning of golf. I was putting on the practice green before my round, looked up and saw PGA Pro Chris Riley putting right next to me. Here was a PGA Pro putting next to a hacker like me. He smiled, said “Hi”, and I thought that was pretty cool. I just don’t get that everyday on my course back home. Oh, by the way. The course was in great shape. If you love a challenge the canyon holes on the back nine are a very nice test of golf.

Visited this course with great anticipation. Extremely crowded and over booked. No rangers to move slow players along. Quit after 4 and 1/2 hrs with 5 hols to play due to poor player management. Expected a whole lot more from a course of this caliber. Won't go back.
