Played 6/10/2008 for the second time. Still love this course. The condition Greens, good to great. There were a few with some thin spots, might be due to the time of the year. Tee boxes and fairways no complaints. Great combo of holes. There are a couple of very short par three's but they are not necessarily easy. Long par fours along with some short but demanding ones as well. Driving range and practice chipping area could be maintained a little better perhaps but that is no distraction to a truly fine course to play.

Played at 2PM on Saturday, 3/22/08 to get the lower twilight rate. This is one of the upscale courses in the St. George area and included bag service, drink cart, lots of staff at checkin. Course was in good condition with smooth fast greens (although some were a little dry and crusty). Playing areas are generally adequate, but you can get in trouble if you venture into the waste areas or get near the washes. Because of the red sandstone base in this area, the course should provide either wet towels or a club cleaner on the carts. Very good GPS system, no yardage book. No ranger around during the round. Good food in the grill. Recommended.

Lots of scrub and rock. You will lose alot of balls and have many unlayable lies. Flags are all black and yellow so its anyones guess at the pin placements. Long par 5's between 500 and 600 yards. Long par 4's mid 400 and above. Forced carries and blind tee shots everywhere. Most fairways are roped off so you will be sticking to the cart path for most of the day. Food in the clubhouse is good but slow service Nice practice areas, had more fun on those then I did on the actual coourse. I wont go back

A beautiful golf course just outside of St George Utah. Probably the best we played while out there. Just one good hole after another. The red rock surrounding the course and area just added to the experience.

Played Saturday afternoon, 5/19/07 on a hot, sunny breezy day. Course is popular with both locals and out-of-towners, and we caught a very slow afternoon crowd. Pace was poor, and a call to the clubhouse only resulted in messages transmitted to the GPS – big deal. Never saw a ranger on the course, and despite very good course conditions the round was 5+ hours. Greens recently aerated and had been rolled but not cut short, and were smooth and receptive but pretty slow. Fairways and traps in good shape. Very good GPS system. Cart girl was having truck trouble, but plenty of water available. Highly recommended, but pace needs to be better managed.

Very good experience on 9/30 getting the twilight rate on a warm, sunny afternoon with only light breezes. Had seen rave posts about this course and was not disappointed. Friendly service from the start, great twilight rate, very good course conditions, including receptive, smooth greens, even though you could still see the remains of aeration a few weeks earlier. Fairways framed by desert landscape and wetland vegetation. Sand traps next to the first green had a lot of small rocks in the sand, but I managed to avoid traps otherwise. Course is visually attractive and not overly difficult from the white tees. Very good GPS system, but no yardage book. Very good food and service on the patio or in the restaurant. Highly recommended. Apparently, no one in Utah fills a divot or fixes a ballmark. We could have spent 15 minutes on each green fixing marks, and used an entire canister of divot mix on each hole. A stunning lack of attitude by the very people who complain loudest about course conditions.

A good Quality golf course. A fair set up. Good boost for the self esteem for the day after Wolf Creek.

I have played many of the best golf courses from the west coast to Denver Colorado and Coral Canyon remains on of my top 10 favourite courses to play. It is my favourite golf course in the St. George area. Coral Canyon is kept in great shape throughout the year, (kudo's to the greenskeeping staff and super). This golf course will offer golfers of all kinds, from high handicappers to scratch golfers, with it's challenges. for the long hitter and low handicapper there are many long carries and risk reward holes, while offering the shorter hitters a very fair and fun golf course to play. Coral Canyon is a great course for the ladies, offering a realistic challenge and length. The course is set in a wonderful valley with an upheaval reef on the east side and the backside of Snow canyon to the west. The mountains of Zion National Park are to the northeast and the views are great. In my opinion the best time to play this course is in the afternoon as the lower angle of the sun lights up the colours and shadows the contours of this golf course and it's surroundings. (and the price is great for twilight golf at an early time in the afternoon, usually 2pm.)This is even more of a bonus when you realize that St. George sits on the very western edge of the mountain time zone. Coral Canyon is more than worth anyones attention.

Played with a group of 12. We go every year to Mesquite and scheduled this course for the 1st time this year. Played a few months ago and added this to the 4 course rotation. Of all the courses played, every player liked this course best. It beat out Falcon, Wolf & others we usually play. Not to diminish Wolf Creek, (it's a must play) however Coral Canyon is a much more traditional track without all the severe elevation changes. Well kept, interesting holes, good greens & fairways, fun to play. Our entire group wants this in the rotation next year. The day we played it was raining and 40 degrees, really miserable weather. Even so, to the man all agreed this was the best venue and all wanted another crack at it next year hopefully with better weather.
