Played Monday 5/03. Had a noon tee time, got off as a single about 45 minutes early, course was wide open. Old school course with lots of grass and trees, not target golf at all. Stray from the fairway, however, and it can be pretty hardpan, so keep it on course, which, with the generous landing areas on most holes, isn't an overly taxing problem. Tee boxes were in great shape, though you'll need to brush away pine needles on a number of holes. There is water on multiple holes, but I don't feel it comes into play unless you hook your second shot on the Par 5 1st hole. Sand traps are strategically placed, a little too firm on top but soft sand under the crust. Greens help most shots into them, rolling medium today. Finished course in 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Facilities: friendly staff, cart girl came by twice, a great driving range and teeny tiny putting green with no holes cut out, just flags to aim at. A great value in the summertime, will defintiely return here multiple times this year.

First, this is a fun course to play. Most holes have wide landing areas for your tee shots, very little target golf and no desert golf to speak of. Water hazards on about 5-6 holes, but really don't come into play except for very bad shots.

Greens were slower than I thought but held shots into them well, some ball mark damage but if you got a proper line, the ball goes to the hole without issue. Tee boxes were a little thin, but didn't really impact my swing. For the most part, the fairways gave you a good second or third shot opportunity, though some bare spots and divots were scattered throughout the course. The only negative about this course would be the sand traps, all of which were in terrible condition and in dire need of a deep raking and mixing.

Amenities & service: driving range is small (irons only allowed), putting green was even smaller w/no holes cut into it (possibly a temporary one?). Service was excellent: from the starter to the clubhouse guy to the cartgirl, everyone was polite and helpful. Carts have no governor on them, so they go nice and fast and are equipped with GPS. A terrific course for those with double digit handicaps; I'm guessing a single digit handicapper might not find it challenging enough for him/her.

Played Feb 21. Course in good condition, greens in very good shape, firm and semi fast. Fairways thin but very easy to take a divot, typical for lower priced courses in Az. Took 4 hours, great for Feb. Staff always great. Have played here many times, good course in summer with all the big trees. Except they don't water the fairways much, they get bare spots and are hard.

I enjoyed playing on this course. It wasn't in the greatest shape but I still had a great time. I shot a 90!!!!
