Played here in a 4 man scramble on 5/10. Course was in overall excellent shape with the exception of the greens. I echo ChiefD59's recent review of the grass being to young & thin in most spots. They were fast but true with almost no bumps. They were firm and difficult to hold with a long iron. Local knowledge of the greens does help. There are lots of false fronts and swails that will run your ball off the green. Some greens also slope front to back so you don't always see the bottom half of the flagstick. Service was great. (But I was @ a tournament with lots of volunteers). Practice facility was very good. This courses summer rate is probably reasonable. I'm putting it on my list to play again this summer.

The greens were very fast with thin grass on them. Like putting on a table top. Looks like they were just sprayed with fertilizer. The course is desert golf and you need to hit your target. Lots of desert areas that look like sand traps. Hard to tell the difference between waste area and bunkers. Presence of a rake was the deciding factor. In the Bunkers sand quality was poor. Lots of little pebbles and sand was packed down. This is a challenging course and will play it again once the summer grass grows in.
