Wigwam Golf Resort just out side of Scottsdale AZ, Grass, what a place three 18 hole courses spread out in what looks like miles. WE played the Gold course which is suppose to be the hardest but playing more foreword tees it was nothing; but fun. Greens were great and on fairways coverage was close to 100%, rough was just fairway about half inch higher trees lining a lot of the fairways, you could hit it through the trees and end up with a nice lie in the fairway of another one of the courses at times. Great practice area quality putting and Chip/pitching greens. Driving range newer mats with both fine and thick artificial turf and good range balls. (this is one of those courses, huge area, you ask where do they get the water and how many people are mowing all that grass?) Played a few other courses last week in Scottsdale tho nice layouts the fairways and greens were already under summer type stress already with lots of spots in fairways where winter overseed had died and summer grass not yet covering.
