I'm sorry this list has not been updated in 4 years. Its rigorous research now trying find courses that offer birthday discounts compared to 14 years ago when I first posted the Birthday Golf Specials list.
When I first started the Birthday Golf List it was ONLY for courses that gave you a Free single player round on or around your birthday. Then I added just 2 for 1 deals to the list.
With this "resurrection" of the Birthday Golf List, to qualify a golf course will need to give a free 18 hole round equivalent to their walking rate or greater. For example, if a golf course is giving a free option to ride but a player needs to still pay the green fee, that offer is not listed. However, providing a free green fee but player has the option to pay a cart fee, does count to be listed.
Also, NO purchase by the birthday golf player is required for a golf course to qualify to be listed. If a player must spend money on joining something to get the Birthday Golf discount, that offer is not listed. However, joining a free email list for example does count to be listed.
Lastly, 2 for 1, 3 for 2 and 4 for 3 deals where the birthday player's full green fee is covered counts to be listed. 4 for 5 deals and higher do not count to be listed.
We want only significant deals listed because a birthday is significant.

Rock Solid Matt Kuchar Earns Las Vegas PGA Tour Betting Experts Respect
Las Vegas, Nevada (May 15, 2012)--There are a lot of signs that a team or player is very good. Media reports, results on the field/course, etc. But there is one guage of where an athlete or team stands that is more proven than most. And that is how they are looked upon by the Las Vegas betting experts. And now Matt Kuchar is very well-respected by the best Las Vegas PGA Tour betting experts. --By Brian Hurlburt, follow @LVGolfInsider

Kuchar opened at 12/1 to win the Byron Nelson Championship, trailing only Phil Mickelson (10/1). "Kuchar should do as he has been over the last 18 months ... be a rock solid contender with consistency near the top of the leaderboard," says Jeff Sherman, founder of Las Vegas' GolfOdds.com "A win like that at THE PLAYERS Championship should vault him into the upper tier of the odds list each time he tees it up. His US Open odds were lowered from 40/1 to 25/1 and he is now considered one of the favorites for the next major."
Other Las Vegas betting favorites for the Byron Nelson are former UNLV golfer Adam Scott (12/1), Keegan Bradley (15/1), and Jason Day and Jason Dufner (both at 20/1). As always, we take a look at the PGATour.com Power Rankings to compare how Las Vegas and the Tour experts are similar or different in their opinions.
PGATour.com writer Rob Bolton lists Scott as the favorite followed by Day, Kuchar, John Rollins (40/1 in Vegas), and Mickelson. Rollins writes the following about Scott: "Ended his slump at TPC Sawgrass specifically with a T15. Won the HP Byron Nelson Championship in 2008. Also shared third in 2006. If he logged enough rounds to qualify, he'd rank fifth on TOUR in greens in regulation and first in birdies or better on par 4s."
