Monarch Dunes Golf Club Receives National Recognition
NIPOMO, Calif, May 31, 2011- Monarch Dunes Golf Club, located inside Trilogy at Monarch Dunes, the largest golf and residential community on California’s Central Coast, was recently honored by a trio of respected national publications. The 18 hole Old Course was selected by Golf Digest as one of America’s Top-50 Golf Courses for Women. The Golf Digest panel of more than 100 female course raters places a strong emphasis on designs that test strong players while providing an enjoyable experience for shorter hitters. The Challenge Course, a collection of 12, par-3 holes, was also recently recognized as a top-10 par-three course by Golf.com and one of America’s Top Short Courses by CyberGolf.
