Played 7/7/25 9:20 POP 2 hrs/ 9 holes. $50 walking. It had been over 20 years since the last time I played this course. It always looks so nice from the road. A typical mountain course. Fairway's lined with tall Pine Trees. Except for the first hole, which is pretty narrow, there is a fair amount of room. Mostly a up/back type routing with some minor dogleg L&R. Not a lot of views, but still a nice course to spend some time on. Fairways in very good shape with great coverage. A little on the heavy side which really killed any roll. Rough was closer to the 3" range which could help to keep balls in play, but a little tough to hit out of. Not many traps. most looked wet and compacted. Greens were in so so shape. The first and 7,8 were in bad shape. Guessing from fungus. Mostly patchy dead/ green and UN puttable. The rest were in decent to good shape. Very soft & receptive, even a little on the spongy side. Very slow and the ball really wanted to wonder with the grain. The greens are small with lots of slope making putting a challenge, which appears to be the courses main defense. Hitting nets, chipped green & putting green. Steep price for 9 holes, but you have to consider where you're at. A fun day in a beautiful area.
