This was my last stop on a busy Saturday. Thankfully, after a slow round at Deep Cliff, I was able to come over to Blackberry Farm and find a pretty much empty course. The guy gave me a break and charged me the Cupertino resident rate of $18 to walk 9 holes.

This course was also in pretty nice, lush condition. Good tee boxes and fairways. Relatively thick rough throughout. Good sand in the bunkers. The greens were rolling at medium-slow speeds, though any putts above the holes were tough to stop. There are some natural slopes here that are definitely steeper than they look.

Again, this is a solid little course. It is an executive 9-holer that plays to a total par of 29. Just two short par-4s in the 270-yard range to go with a good mix of par-3s ranging from 94 yards up to 189. Easy to walk and a good place for novice players to hone their skills, while still providing just enough challenge for an experienced player to enjoy. Nothing overly exciting, but surely better than I expected.
