Tour Edge Exotics XCG3 Driver The Tour Edge Exotics XCG3 Driver is Tour Edge s most advanced driver yet. The XCG-3 features a titanium body, an aerospace carbon crown and two tungsten sole weights. In the Exotics tradition, the XCG-3 utilizes combo brazing to join the tungsten sole weights and titanium body. The parts feature interlocking channels that are chemically brazed and are vacuum heat-cured for permanent bonding without welding. The result is a more pure energy transfer for longer, more powerful drives. X-contour face technology generates faster more consistent launch speed from all areas of the face and the inner O-ring allows the outer edges of the face to be made thinner for a larger sweet spot, greater ball speed and improved distance on off-center hits. A lighter stronger version of high modulus carbon fiber allows for a thinner crown and more weight to be positioned in the sole. The two tungsten sole weights total 28 grams and create the lowest, deepest center of gravity of any Exotics driver yet for a higher moment of inertia, less club head twisting and greater forgiveness.
