I came to these clubs after gaming a set of Wilson Dyna Power Fluid feel blades. The blades offered zero forgiveness and would sting the hand and sprain the wrist when mi sh$t .

I went down to the PGA Tour SS and hit everything they had in irons in my price range, the new Wilsons (DI9s), Clevelands, Pings, just about everything. The Taylormades came up longest on the simulator, but they also came up straightest. I picked them despite having a slight bias against Taylormade for being the latest, greatest most hyped up thing.

The clubs get max points from me for distance, I'll leave it to others to argue about the loft and the length of the shafts. Whatever they have done I get more distance and more forgiveness.

I've marked down the clubs for playability even though they still curve a bit because these are not meant to be player's irons. The feel and appearance still gets high marks from me, I like the look of the club, and I can still feel a well struck ball but with the graphite shafts I do not get the pain in my hands, forearms and wrists I use to get from my old blades.

I got these clubs from Callaway Preowned with a special running for $218 -- an absolute steal.

I like the gray smoky color but it does wear away where the ball frequently strikes the club face. This does not bother me but may bother others. The clubs I got had a season's worth of use but despite this seemed to be in quite good condition and had held up well to wear and tear.
