Golfsmith Broken Graphite Shaft Puller : Tool Instruction Manual (2 MB) This ingeniously simple tool is perhaps the easiest and safest way to remove broken graphite shafts from clubheads. Plus, it eliminates the likelihood of rattles created by drilling out broken shafts from head designs that feature a vacant bottom of hosel bore covered by a disk. Simply screw the threaded tip into the broken shaft piece by hand until the threads have a firm grab on the interior shaft wall. Heat the hosel to break the epoxy bond and pull the broken shaft from the hosel. Mr. T Extractor offers more leverage than other broken shaft removers, so less heat is required which reduces the chance for scorching the clubhead finish. | ||||||
