I got a sleeve of these balls free. As a high handicapper I game some so-called rocks that are cheap and I don't mind losing. I wondered whether I would notice any difference when I put these in my bag.

I ended up playing the same ball all day to day and there was a significant improvement in my green side shots. I was worried the increased spin would mean banana balls, but my driving was not affected by the ball.

I was impressed enough with this ball that I will keep them in the bag and buy more in the future and save them for park land courses where I can find my ball in the rough, and will continue to game cheapies for the desert courses and their ball eating rocky areas.

I did notice some scuff marks on the ball about mid round, but the ball still looked pretty good at the end of the round, so I knocked off one point for durability. Feel and spin were both excellent.

Price is a little higher than I spend, but a good value for a three piece ball. Distance was shorter than usual for what I usually get, but that could also have been course conditions as well, it was less dry and more lush when I played -- it wasn't enough to make a difference.

Not sure if the hex dimples matter but they look cool. » Close
