With so much newer technology out on the market,THIS club still works for my game! I have the 22* lofted hybrid (REG) flex graphite in my travel set (2nd bag) and only get to use it when we are out of town playing courses where I don't have to lug my primary set.

From the first time I used it (bran new) and put into my bag, I KNEW I would have the confidence anytime I used it. Because of the loft (22*) I thought it might be too strong for a 4 Hybrid? Actually it's the perfect replacement & with the slightly shorter shaft compared to other manufactures, I'm still able to get the required distance needed (175-185 yards) without trying to jump or swing harder. In fact, in a recent round thought I was laying up to be short of the green side bunkers ONLY to find out I nailed it close to 215 yards, barely short of the bunkers.

Overall a solid performer even though this model is a few years old compared to what is available in the current market. IF you find one used in very good - excellent condition,grab it it for such a discounted price!

Excellent controllable distance, easy to hit with my natural draw shot. Some players may not like the "cut out" design in the head, I'm here to tell you it's not a problem and I don't even notice it at address.

This driver is amazing and at the price it is at today it is almost like steeling. Although it is not quite the most forgiving driver at 5300 MOI it still has enough forgiveness for most players to be able to use. I have never hit a driver that goes this far. In several studies with robotic swings, the HiBore Line was always four yards farther. The stock Fujikura Fit on Red shaft plays very well for more powerful swingers. It gives you a nice boring trajectory without excess spin. I have a friend who has an average tempo that greatly benefits from the higher launch gold shaft. The appearance is strange but also aids in alignment. I don't think anyone would suffer from using this driver. A great purchase. » Close

Since I don't carry a 5 wood in my bag, I recently bought a 3i & 4i to fill in some holes. I was hesitant to go the Hybrid route at first, but, after seeing what they had done for some friends, and spending a good deal of time on a range, I purchased them and now wonder why I waited!

Since I don't carry a 5 wood in my bag, I recently bought a 3i & 4i to fill in some holes. I was hesitant to go the Hybrid route at first, but, after seeing what they had done for some friends, and spending a good deal of time on a range, I purchased them and now wonder why I waited!
These clubs are more forgiving than anything else in the bag. They can be hit from the tee, the fairway, or rough and are very consistent for me from a distance persepective. The biggest surprise for me was how little effort you need to place into the shot to get it to carry long and high but still land soft.

I've owned my Cleveland HiBore XLS 2i Hybrid for about 8 months now and it is, without question, my favorite club in my bag. I'm probably going to replace my 3 iron with a 4i because I hit my current 2i so long and straight off almost any lie I can't image how easy it's going to be to hit the 4i. I've never rated a club 5 stars across the board but this club earned my respect.

i was using an old Taylor Made 320 stiff shaft with 8.5 degree loft. I had many years of success with it, but I knew it must go as it was outdated technology. After "tying" or should I say "borrowing" other players drivers I finally found the XL. The odd shape did not bother me at all. The head is much bigger, the shaft lighter and best of all - it has a low kick point. To see where the kick point is on your driver grip it on the top of the grip, put the head on the ground and push down to see where the shaft bends. The 9.5 degree loft is perfect for me and the club is easy to work the ball. Also, I can take something off it (for accuracy) or can add a little extra when needed. Best of all I purchased it "experienced" but in excellent condition at a local golf shop for 1/2 price of a new one. » Close
