Yes, I seen all the ad's of the 17+ yards, but I am personally a cynical skeptic. Nonetheless, I went to try it out at a Roger Dunn. The launch monitors started reading distances of 240-255, mostly with fades to the right. I haven't had a fairway wood in years, but I remember they typically went about 230.
For no reason other than being ADHD and impulsive, I got one off of ebay for under 200. Played one round with it so far and took it to the range once. On the course, tee'd off with one after I hit a driver and balls were not very far apart. Hit one off the fairway on a par 5 and measured the distance and was just under 260 yards. WTH??? Still adjusting to it, as some shots go left and a couple go right, but actually feels good in my hands. Gained a lot more than the 17 yards.... Have to stop badmouthing their ads now... » Close
