I was looking to replace my Rescue Mid 16* w/Aldila 85NV shaft. I wanted a shaft which was lighter but easier to swing. I know I could have swapped out the shaft but I have the original Tour Edge 3 wood in 13 degrees and I love it so I decided to stick with the same brand for my hybrid. I read all the reviews on the XCG and they were all positives so I went shopping and found a 19* with a 62 gram Tour Accuracy shaft and this club is long!!! This hybrid is easier to hit and gets the ball higher and longer than my Rescue Mid. You can really feel the titanium face on solid impacts and even on missed hits the ball flies. Greened a par five in two. I was 210 to a front pin on an elevated green. Took out my XCG hybrid took a could of practice swings and bam pin high about 15 feet. Missed the eagle but made the birdie. I am not the longest guy but this club makes me feel like a tour player. The price is unbelievable and cheaper to comparable brands on the market but most if not all other brands use steel not titanium for the face. Shaft is perfect for my swing speed (98 mph) and light enough that you can feel the head. At address the look is clean and gives you confidence knowing that you have such a nice size head. I am now thinking about getting a 21 degree to replace my 3 iron. You can buy the other brands and pay a pretty penny but why? I would definitely go out and at least try to hit a few balls with this club and you will know what I am talking about. Combo brazing sounds like a gimmick but it is real technology that will help you long game out immensely.
