i decided to give this place another try , played there on saturday 5-6-06 , i remembered to bring cash with me, but i also found that the snack bar has an atm machine. this is a great course for beginers the fairwayts are open the greens were in nice shape they also have a nice chipping area and some nice putting greens. i will come back to alondra to work on my game

used to play this course quite a bit, continues to disappoint. it's gradually getting worse. it's not even a challenge, if you play any golf, not worth the price or wait. you can take a few months off... Continue »

used to play this course quite a bit, continues to disappoint. it's gradually getting worse. it's not even a challenge, if you play any golf, not worth the price or wait. you can take a few months off and go shoot in the 70s here, but only if the greens are running decent (majority of the time they suck). the cash only policy mentioned below also makes this place not worth it. you would think with all the cash they bring in that they can put a little towards maintenance. they have to be bringing enough dough with sending out 5somes and 6 hour rounds. this place sucks, they should tear it down and build another one. the location is too good to have such a sorry excuse for a course

Have not played here in over a year.....surprised how nice the greens were. Pace of play was great for a weekend, however we had a very early tee time. Fortunately not very foggy or cold.

I wouldn't put this course in a "must play" category but overall it's not a bad course. The fees are fairly low and you're basically getting what you pay for. The tee boxes are OK, the fairways are inconsistent, the sand is OK, the greens were acually in very decent shape. For a local course the greens stood out... very consistent speed and fairly smooth. Speed of play was a bit slow but this was a holiday. If more golfers there would fill their divots it would really help the fairways. It's got a decent layout; overall I would rate this course a 5 out of 10 (1 being the worst and 10 being the best).

3.50 is over rating this dump. The greens are very sandy and the fairways are funky. Tee boxes are muddy. You can only pay cash here, and someone is obviously stealing the maintenance funds.

Hard to find trouble. Not much distinction between fairway and rough. The challenge is in the slightly elevated, tiny greens. Every green is flat with virtually no break. Greens are medium/slow pace, bumpy and not maintained very well. Good course for beginners (lots of high handicappers here). Play is slow. Nothing worth traveling for. I play here often because it is 10 minutes from work. Hole #3 is worth mentioning... Hole #3 is a 180+ par 3 that has a very tall palm tree smack in the middle of the fairway directly between the tee box and Pin. It get's hit over a dozen times a day by balls headed for the center of the green. Rediculous!
Also, the staff gives you the impression that they would rather be anywhere else. Regardless, I still have fun there.
