Don't let the short yardage fool you, this course requires precise shot-making and if you miss you could end up with a high number. The course is conditioned well and the greens are very nice yet not to crazy to putt on. Some things to consider, the course is narrow, there is a driving range but it is very small and Driver might not be the best play off the tee unless you can thread the needle especially on the doglegs. Speaking of dogs there is a friendly mutt on hole #12 who trains golfers all day by pushing his tennis ball thru the fence for golfers to throw. It is a good value for the area as well.

Both of us were warmly welcomed for our 11:00 tee time by courteous and knowledgeable staff, and shown where to warm up, putt, and the first tee.
Double ended range is grass with several hitting stations-modest but adequate; balls included. Putting/chipping green adjacent first tee is a good size for a few putts.
Overall good to very good conditions around the course, 7/10. The layout is easy enough, but don't let the slope fool you, as some holes can be sneaky tough with few 'gimmes'. The entire course is lush and maturing from the overseeding, only getting better with time. Very good maintenance and manicuring is evident.
Tees were lush & level, with just a few divots, but sanded in by disciplined golfers. Fairways are smooth and running long, with good grass length and easy to hit from, with no bare patches noticed; divots filled. Rough is lush/thick and a sensible length around 2 inches or less so easy to find your ball (good for pace of play). All sand looked new-light and fluffy of decent depth and easy to hit out of. Greens complexes gave good variety of design and size, with contouring and nice rough to chip out of; collars & approaches were cut to under 1/2 inch. Greens held well, were extremely smooth, few ball marks, not too soft and at medium speed today. Later in the season the speed is certain to increase.
We enjoyed the lazy pace (3+40) on an engaging layout with good work for your shorter clubs on narrow tracks. No drinks cart today, enough restrooms and water fountains on course with ice and water machine at the clubhouse. No GPS on carts and few markers on fairways-they didn't have them then did they?
We would play it again. Worth it with a deal.
